Same Bianchhi I have for my P-64.
I soaked the holster in water then let it dry on gun for a custom fit.
Yes I did dry and clean my P-64 afterward.

Tunnelrat As a Kimber owner you know the quality, forget the rumors just look at how people look down on our little P-64's. I like my P-64 and in fact name my guns. My Kimber is Beauty and my P-64 is Beast. Already have names for my Wilson Combat (Lady) and my RI (Tramp). Knowing the feel of quality...

Defensive Ammo
Oh I know. My personal favorite is a .45 1911. Golden Sabres with 2 FMJ thrown into the cocktail.
Should stop almost anything I'll ever run into.
I use my Mak for backup and for "light carry" when in "good" areas.

Space
Thanks for the reply.
I actually do alternate rounds, golden sabers with fmj.
I'm mostly wondering which hp and fmj may be deemed best by our members as regards feed, reliability, effectivness, "stopping power", etc.

Glad to hear the reviews on the RI. I'm a current Kimber owner and love it, next will be a RI followed by another Kimber (Ultra Carry) and saving my pennies and hinting a whole lot to the boss (wife) about a Wilson Combat. Believe it or not, you really can carry a full sized 1911 concealed. I've nev...

Safety dropping on while shooting
I have the same problem with the safety. My p64 doesn't like the s&b fmj but fires golden sabres no problem (except for the safety) Recoil is horrendous, much worse than my .45. Guess a trip to my gunsmith is in the works. It is an ez gun to carry but I want to pull the trigger and have it go bo...

A Kimber .45 is my "go to" weapon of choice. S&B shoots well in a .45 and costs less also for target shooting. As for defensive rounds, my #1 choice is Remington Golden Sabre. Sometimes (pretty often actually), I'll carry a cocktail, a mix of mostly Golden Sabres with two FMJ thrown in...

Concealability?
I'd like to get a concensus as to which IWB holster for the P64 has the best overall concealment.

Abwehr
Thank you for the welcome and the answers.
It is greatly appreciated!
I will also look into a new recoil spring as this little p64 seems to have tremendous recoil, alot more than my .45.

P-64 Questions
Hi all
I'm new to the P-64.
I think it will make a nice ccw weapon once a few bugs are worked out and hence I seek your opinions and suggestiona.
1) While shooting, my safety sometimes self engages
2) Reliability- What can I do to maximise it
3) Best CCW holster
Thanks,
George

What Ammo feeds / doesn't feed in your P64
Hornady Hollow Points = 0 failure to feed, 0 misfire/no fire S&B FMJ = failure to feed on every mag, duds 2-3 per box (2 boxes) Fiocchi FMJ = 0 failure to feed, 0 misfire/no fire I was very surprised as I would expect more problems with the hollow points and the S&B ammo fires with no proble...
