Re: Egyptian Rasheed (Rashid) rifle

trustingman62, I Don't have a Egyptian Rasheed but I got to shoot one that a friend of mine had back in the late 80's. At the time I had a Ruger mini 30 (7.62x39). After shooting the Rasheed I preferred it to the Ruger mini 30 mostly because the Rasheed was a heavier rifle (9#) compared to the Ruger...

He had worked with John Browning to design the Remington Model 17 which serve...

New Carry For Wife

Bought a LNIB carry pistol for my wife recently, a Colt Mustang PocketLite .380 6+1 with a Colt LaserMax and two mags. I let her pick out what ever she wanted. She reminded me before we were married that she is high maintenance so I was warned. It came down to between a Sig P238 .380 w/o laser and t...

Re: What is a good year to have ?

gilmaxier, “Comme ci, comme ca”, I haven't heard of a bad one yet, some have had a few issues but nothing that a simple fix could solve the issue. I've had 5 from the early days dating from '69 - '72 and no issues, and for me no springs changes either but for some spring changes have made a differen...

Re: P64 w/Zee Grips

I've had them for a few years now, bought several sets, at one time I had six sets when I had 5 P-64's. I understand he is hard to get in touch with and not sure he is doing them anymore.

Re: WWII Rifles

Ketchman,

I sized a couple bullets of 1938 8x56R Mannlicher ammo with my micrometer, its a .329 dia and scaled them at 206gr I don't have a chronograph but I have read this bullet is rated at around 2000fps if memory serves me.
