Check out this bad Mama Jamma!

This is a new pistol from RIA that debuted at this years Shot Show. It is based on a shortened .223 cartridge. It also supposedly will include a 9mm Luger barrel as well. It is a double stack setup. This combo reportedly gives a velocity in the 2100fps range with a 22 cal bullet. WOW! I want one pro...

Re: New Grips For My P64

SZ, I haven't shot the P64 with the new grips yet. I'm just going to keep them. It took over 5 weeks for them to get here. The gun feels OK with them on there and they are an improvement over the beat up ones that it came with. I only get pissed off when I look at them. If I had to grade them ...

Re: Pleasantly suprised

This is a nice board, guys. Thanks for all the data. Picked up my first P-64 yesterday, as I thought it was be a good companion to the CZ-82. I was a bit suprised at how well it shot and handled. I was good for about 45 rounds, the last 5 in the box where a tad uncomfortable. Nice pistol for the mo...

Re: New to me Ruger Blackhawk 41Mag

Thanks Farmer. That 4 5/8" barrel does balance real nice. I have a feeling this one is going to be a real good shooter. The 41Mag is a hard hitting round with reasonable recoil. I just shoot cast bullets in mine with Unique or 2400. If I were to get another Blackhawk it would be a 45 Long Colt. ...

New to me Ruger Blackhawk 41Mag

I just got this today. A 4 5/8" new model Ruger Blackhawk 41Mag. It is in fantastic shape. It looks like the previous owner only fired a few rounds down the pipe and put it up. Hardly a drag line on the cylinder. I have a 6.5" 41Mag Blackhawk already, but I much prefer the shorter 4 5/8&qu...

Re: $130 Titan Tiger .38 Special

I do like MO Bullets, I shoot them from my .38 S&W Ctg. revolver (Model 11). However, I'd prefer not to pay $13 in shipping unless I'm going to buy a bunch of different ones to make it worth it and since I hardly use any, then it's not much worth it unfortunately. I have no idea who cast these ...

Re: $130 Titan Tiger .38 Special

I have had the best results using 158gr SWC like that in my 357Mag reloads.
I use the Lasercast ones from Oregon Trail. Missouri bullets would be a good
choice too.

New Grips For My P64

I finally got my grips from the guy on Ebay from Thailand. It took 5 weeks for them to get here. I have to say that the fit of them is poor. the quality is average. They look like they were made by amateurs. Bottom line: If you want good grips, get them from Dennis Marschal. Here are a few pics. Rob...

Re: You have got to love those lever actions!

Thanks Papa! Check out a lever action sometime. You won't believe how smooth the Henry's action is. The Marlin's, especially the older ones from the 60's & 70's and older are quality built pieces of mechanical art. They are all great shooters too. I hope I can pick up a Savage 99 and a BLR some ...

You have got to love those lever actions!

I love lever action rifles. Too much fun to shoot! Here are a few of mine: Rimfires: Henry H001M 22Mag with a Weaver 2-7X28mm Rimfire Scope. Very accurate! Great small game rifle! http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff186/smbob/001-1.jpg Henry H001T 22LR with a Weaver 4X28mm Rimfire Scope. Octagon ba...

Nothing ugly with your 10-22. It's a thing of beauty! My dad gave me my 10-22 almost 40 years ago and I
still have it. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Mosin Nagant Rifles

For M39 Finns check out SOG. Sako M39's run around $259 and Valmet M39's run around $239. M39 finns aren't cheap, but once you get your hands on one you will see that they are totally worth the extra $. The quality, fit, finish, and the workmanship is just miles ahead of the Russian Mosins. Robert

Re: Mosin Nagant Rifles

I like Mosin's. I think once people get their first one they get a case of Mosinitis and have to get more of them. I have a 91/30 that I put a S&K scout mount on with a 4X32mm Simmons pistol scope. It's pretty accurate with 203gr Silver Bear SP ammo. Around 1.5" at 100 yards from the ...
