Re: Rear sight- Removable?
There is another thread somewhere here about someone who attempted to drift his rear sight, I too believe that it is not fully fixed. If I remember correctly he had a real hard time trying to get it to move, but someone gave him a tip on how to do it. However, I am in agreement with Donzi about not ...

Re: Comparison: P-64 vs Taurus pt709 Slim Nine
Thanks hunter316, I am quite pleased with how the mod turned out. It works extremely well for these older eyes in daylight and well in lower light. Here is the link to the thread that explains how I did it and more pics.

Re: Safe to carry 1968 vintage with round in the chamber?
I have an original civil war issue rifled musket (1842 french pattern, unsure of place of manufacture) as issued by the US (they did, so did the south) with bayonet. And yes, there is "reach" there. Course the dang thing weighs a ton and just getting sideswiped by the bayonet when mounted ...

Re: FEG-PA-63 OUESTION
I know I put in excess of 900 rounds through mine and everything was still nice and tight when I sold it earlier this year. And yes, stick to 95 grain or lighter ammo. Hevier bullets over time rends to stretch cross pin holes and produce stress cracks in the frame. Enjoy that little beauty.

Compact 1911 .45, SIG P-220 .45, Daewoo P-51 9mm, basically anything I am competant with and can reliably land rounds with under some level of pressure.

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Welcome to the Brotherhood. I too own a CZ-82 and had a PA-63 which I foolishly sold even if it did finance my P-64. Great 'cause I have the P-64 which I love and foolishly because my wife was mad a t me for selling the PA-63, which she liked. Glad we could be of help in your getting started in the ...

Re: Bummer
Had a PA-63 and still own a CZ-82, both are great. The PA-63 can give you "railroad tracks" if you have large fleshy hands or you get too high a grip though (it did to me on a couple of occasions.) but it should not with a proper grip. You might also try a Makarov.

Comparison: P-64 vs Taurus pt709 Slim Nine
Hi guys, Spent a month in North Dakota working and busy as heck getting caught up since I got back. Anyway, I bought a Taurus Slim Nine in May and have been swapping it with my P-64 for daily carry to see which I like better. I have seen some guys here express an interest in the Slim Nine so I thoug...

Re: FMJ or HP in 9x18?
Because of FMJ's further penetration through winter clothing which, where I live, can be rather thick. In fact most of the time I don't carry my 9x18 pistols in the winter as 1) I can conceal a larger caliber gun (I am somewhat slight of build) and 2) I want the extra penetration a larger caliber su...

FMJ for winter and HP for summer, except my CZ-82 which keeps HP's all year round due to mag capacity.
