A few milsurp pics
I enjoy shooting and collecting milsurps. It looks like other other folks on this site do as well. Here's a few of mine. Enjoy. Re: Star Super Modelo A
You are right Kilogulf59. Thanks for the correction. I have only shot the Spanish FMJ non corrosive surplus ammo through it. I really need to get some Starline brass and some cast bullets and reload for it. I'm pretty sure I could get it shooting better. I really love Star pistols. I wish they were ...

Re: Any one own a Star BKS?
Any one who thinks that Star built a poor quality product has never owned or fired on, very accurate. Great guns! G.R. +2 I love Star pistols. I used to own a PD and I now own a Modelo A 9mm Largo. If it were up to me, I would make all Star pistols C&R seeing as how the factory in Spain went ou...

Re: Accuracy Issues?
Definately try some different ammo. I have found that the only way to go is to get it online. Way cheaper than anywhere locally, even when you add shipping, and way way way larger selection. There is Silver Bear, Brown Bear, S&B, and others. Try a box of each and see how they group. Different am...

Re: Star Super Modelo A
I love Star pistols! I used to own a Star PD 45 auto. I kick myself every day for getting rid of it! Not one of the smarter things I have done. A while back I was able to pick up a Star Super Modelo A 9mm Largo. It is a Spanish Air Force model. I wish the bore was in better shape. It is still fun to...

+1 on the Polish P83! If it were to go on the C&R list I would buy one
immediately if not sooner.

New member saying hello.
My name is Robert and I'm a any pistol that is chambered in 9X18 Makarov aholic! Seriously though, I love shooting and collecting these pistols. I have a PA63, a Bulgarian Makarov, a CZ82, and I just ordered a P64 from SOG today. By the way the lady I spoke with at SOG said you better hurry if...

Re: Reloading on a Size Budget
primarchbentley, I know this is a bit late, but one way you can load straight wall pistol ammo in a restricted space is with a Lee Hand Press. Get yourself a set of Lee carbide pistol dies, a Lee Auto Prime, a powder charger, a scale, the Hand Press and you are all set. I have been loading with the ...
