Poor Day at the Range
Here are a few tips: #1 - Be Safe #2- Have Fun The rest of the tips aren't as important as # 1 and 2 at this point. #3 - Keep a high grip (a bit difficult with a P-64) #4 - Keep a tight grip with wrists locked, actually try pushing forward a bit with the firing hand while pulling back with the suppo...

Is it just me, or....
I leave mine stock and accept it for what it is, a small, easy to conceal and accurate pistol with a round powerful enough to "do the job". It's a great backup or carry for for those times when a 1911 just don't fit the carry bill. The only reason it can't be a regular carry in my opinion ...

How good are these little handguns?
Say what you will but at self defense ranges (30-40 feet) this little pistol makes a gallon milk jug dance around the range, you can hit the jug while it's still moving and I don't practice with it much, not too shabby. Just imagine what you can do with experience and practice

Defensive Ammo
I recently switched over to FMJ for my P-64 in order to acheive maximum penetration. Just my personal opinion that in this caliber I might not get adequate penetration with this round unless the shot is straight on to COM.

Your springs and your machining, amazing!

tactical light
Personally, I carry a tactical light. Two of the rules of carry are, never let your weapons muzzle point at something you're not willing to destroy and always identify what's beyond your target.

Even more off topic than usual . . .
I haven't fired that yet but know someone who does have one and a grease gun, just have to hook up times for range time. Here in PA they are legal as long as you pass the bg check and as I don't own any I think there may be other rules as well, maybe special taxes and required safes, etc. Personally...

Even more off topic than usual . . .
Yeah! That was straight Shooting :) I get to shoot some pretty cool stuff at our local homemade range. Just some of the stuff is AK's, M-16's, an mp5 and an M14, even got to fire a few bursts from an m60. Yeah, the guys that are local shooters are a pretty cool bunch. I got my son and 2 Grandsons in...

Radom Polish P-64
Hi Phil and Welcome. Yes, We do like our P-64's. They're accurate, sturdy, easy to conceal and reliable. The DA first pull is horrendous but there are work arounds listed on the forum. One of my other guns is a higher end 1911, it's in the shop but my P-64 is still at my side, how's that for faith? ...

Bind in slide?
Last night I did a complete disassembly and soaking in cleaner, swabbed every nook and cranny, lubed. This morning I went to the range and for the first time I was able to feed the P-64 anything, fmj, JHP, it ate it all without flaw, 100 rounds mixed ammo. The only problem was the safety dropping on...
