'UP' is FIRE (safety off). Down is "SAFE" and Decock.

Which is opposite of the Makarov :(

Re: P-64 Springs -The strongest recoil reduction available?

First, thank you for your service! I hope you enjoy the P-64, I sure do. I still have the original springs in mine. Got Zee grips because I wanted the thumb rest. Not sure if he's making them anymore, kind of a home-brew set-up. By far the best accessory for my P-64 has been the Houge Handall (small...

Re: New-to-me P-64 to the Range

Congrats on the purchase.

This grip (thumbs forward) seems to be in vogue keeps the thumbs out of the way of the slide, I find it also helps with accuracy:

+1 on sending it back if you're not happy.

Then again, a new Bersa is going to look like that after a few trips to the range.

Re: New Member - New P64 owner - Jamming issues

Lots of good advice already posted. One other thing I noticed- might be related (or not): In your last picture ("chamber view") I see some wear around the ends of the breech. If there are burrs in this area it could cause jamming. Not to give you internet gunsmith advice, but I had to *lig...

Yeah, here's my review:

Since then it's starting to show a few frayed threads I need to trim, but otherwise it's holding up remarkably well. Very happy with it.

Re: New Member - Range Troubles with P64

1. Houge handall over the grip (best $7 you'll spend on the P-64). 2. When going for accuracy, focus on the front sight while slowwwly pressing the trigger. Don't let the front sight move off the target. I can consistently hit beer bottles at 40 feet with mine using this method. Do lots of this with...

Looks like Aim Surplus has Silver Bear back in stock, along with Wolf. Doesn't appear prices have gone up much thank goodness. Save some for me!

I got my extra mag from keepshooting.com

Although not as good of quality as an original Polish mag, it works great.

It was in-season and I have a license to hunt grouse & grouse hunting with handguns is legal in my state, so I suppose so.

Got it in the neck from 25' away, didn't even ruin any meat. We cooked it up and ate it when we got home. Tastes like chicken of course.

Re: Outbags Modular Holster review

It's set-up for both (I removed the IWB clip for the pictures), but obviously optimized for belt carry. Great for hiking, and I even use it on my 10k trail runs with a belt.

Got this tasty ruffed grouse the other day while elk hunting with my boys.
