Your Handgun Inventory
I see lots of signatures listing the handguns owned by the author. I see lots of pictures of multiple P64 (papabear, et al) and as I read threads, new and old, there are references to other (non-P64) handguns. I'd love to see pictures of some of the illustrious collections many of our members have /...

Fla. Question.
I do not think that that is the case. I believe that you can purchase handguns only in the state you reside (full time residence, not "winters in Florida") and issued your resident permit not the Non-resident one(s). I say this because I was reading another forum where it is actually a fed...

I couldn't help myself....
Grayfox, Go to Gunboards.com and scroll down to the Makarov forum. Click on Slim Tim's Trader forum and there is a round hammer P64 that looks fantastic for $225 I think (2 mags, holster, cleaning tool). Check it out, if Massachusetts would allow I would have purchased it long ago. Check it out...it...

What is the date on your P-64 ?
I'm too young (and too poor) to retire and too old to up and move again (3 times in <10 years with work) and I need to make sure my kids are established before I start stealing my freedom back!! But boy I'd like to make my sister's place in NH my residence of record!!! There has been talk of another...

Papabear,
I resemble that remark! What do you mean Massachusetts is "not necessarily the home of the free"? I can do anything the government tells me I can do!
Don't it suck.

What is the date on your P-64 ?
Papabear: What I'm getting is that we might be looking at C&R eligibilty within the next 4 to 7 years? Wouldn't it be nice to find a 1961 manufacture date to qualify in a few years? Since the BATF reg says a gun on the C&R list OR 50 years old would that mean the model (P64) qualifies in 201...

What is the date on your P-64 ?
To ask a dumb question that maybe I should already know the answer to...when did they start making the P64s? I know they are not on the BATF C&R list so obviously not before 1957 (I didn't even need my fingers to figure that one out because I'm becoming C&R eligible myself this year). How mu...

I'm Finally On Line !!! Now help me...
I don't know how the state came up with the regs they use but the P64 isn't on the list. To get on the list a gun must pass muster by the state and that means being tested to death/have certaian sfatey features. It must be submitted by the manufacturer so until a P64 becomes a C&R it may never b...

I'm Finally On Line !!! Now help me...
I recently fell in love with the P64 and afterwards found out it is not Mass Compliant (translation...can't be sold retail in Massachusetts). I have been fighting with my verizon account to receive an activation code (I finally used my work email) so I could ask for assistance in fnding out if there...
