Handguns in a Stress Situation
tunnelrat, I agree with you for the most part, however, my ass was in the grass too in 1968 and during Tet too, I also am carrying shrapnel in my leg, fortunate to still have my Johnson, I didn't do tunnels, my hat off to you, that had to take a bucket full. We all lost friends and it does leave a w...

Camo Grips
pirk56, the grips came from one of our members here, Zeeborg, click on members and go to Zeeborg and he has his email addy listed in his profile. He is a really good guy to deal with and will work with you. I have bought 4 sets of CZ52 grips and 6 sets of P-64 grips from him and all fit and looked g...

Handguns in a Stress Situation
tunnelrat, nearly 38 years ago it not only took a chunk out of my soul but left a profound sense of guilt, it never goes away, I think most of us just learn to live with it. "All Gave Some, Some Gave All"

Concealability?
I have to admit that pocket carry was my favorite, however, since I got the "Clip Draw" I have to agree with warthog, very concealable and its comfortable, now, depending on how I dress, I have a choice. ;D

Can someone post info and pics of the "clip draw"
tunnelrat, thanks for the url on the clipdraw, received mine today, gotta tell ya, I like it!!! Took longer to read instructions than it did to put it on, very simple, works great, now I have the clipdraw and pocket carry, also thanks to Space & Warthog for the pic of the Chrome P64, good work g...

OFF TOPIC QUESTION Llama 9mm?
Hey butch, I had a Llama 9mm years ago, looked very similar to the 1911 w/grip safety, w/5"bbl decent pistol, I had some problems with it but once I got the feed ramp polished and found the right magazines it was pretty much flawless, only reason I got rid of it (1990) was back then, IMHO, the ...

Our Site & P64 recieve favorable mention
Thanks, p64, for the Glock talk forum, nice to know others are getting the word, and having nice things to say about it, it will cause, IMHO, the price to go up once everyone catches on to the P64. that's a good thing if you are wanting the value to go up on your P64's but bad if you don't have one ...

New to P64
"WELCOME" gunrunner, your in the right place for information, ideas and suggestions on the P64. I found this forum in Dec 05 because of a bashing the P64 was getting from another gun forum, I now own 3 of these little bangers since coming here. Great for CCW and plinking. A lot if not most...

Defensive Ammo
devlinfaust, I agree with you on the CCW issue, my choice for CCW is the P64, IMHO its excellent for CCW, the .357 semi-wadcutters is for home defense, the S&W 13-3 is to bulky and heavy for CCW. I want to try all the new ammo for the 9x18 before I make up my mind on which round to use for CCW. ...

PA-63???
abwehr, I just saw a ad from "floridagunworks.com", their ad said, "Brand New Polish Made Makarov, (P64) $199.95 comes with one mag. Yelp, the price is going up. I just picked up a nice one (1968) at a show in Evansville In. two weeks ago for $160 OTD w/3 mags and a Russian holster. A...

Defensive Ammo
I'm certainly not a expert either, but I agree with Space's comments about penetration and about what HP and FMJ do or don't do. However, I am a bit old-fashioned and set in my ways to a certain degree. For self-defense 9x18 ammo, I use CorBon 95 gr JHP and Hornaday 95 gr XTP in my P64 (CCW)for self...

Import Marks
abwehr & CZAKboy, you guys both got it going on, that is exactly what I did to my import marks. I used the EEZOX first and then the Brownell's OxphoBlue, and it works great, and yelp, need to keep it off the original blue, great idea about the grease too abwehr!!! ;D
