New Camo Grips Rock!

gunut, Welcome, this is a great board, read as many of the post as you can to find out what a great little pistol the P-64 is, tons of good info and helpful suggestions. As for the grips, they are what Zee calls, Green with Black Swirl. I got several sets from him for my P-64's and CZ52's. He is a g...

9x18 Ammo sources

bzinggg, First of all, I didn't claim to be a expert on the P-64, secondly, I said, "to each his own", and lastly, I was just pointing out what the P-64 Manual said. In no way was I trying to in your words, impart my admittedly superior wisdom upon you. I was merely pointing out what the p...

9x18 Ammo sources

bzinggg, I am certainly no expert on the P-64 pistol, but I do have to agree with b52stan that the 115gr is to heavy a round for the P-64. Most of us when we got our P-64's also obtained the manual for the Polish P-64, either it came with the P-64 or we printed free copies that are still offered her...

9x18 Ammo sources

Got my 1,000 rounds of S&B 9x18 95gr Tuesday from Natchez. I agree that Aim, located in Ohio, usually has the best price on ammo if you live near that part of the country. I realize the Wolf and other brands are cheaper than S&B but I don't shoot anything but 95gr in my 64's, my Makarov's ar...

Radom Polish P-64

45fanatic, Welcome to our P-64 forum, here you will find a bunch of friendly information and great suggestions on a variety of subjects. I am probably in the minority when I say I prefer the DA pull on P-64, but my reasons are simple, I like to leave things original, and I don't have a problem pulli...

Sight Picture

P-64, Point Shooting or "Aimed - But not Sighted" put simply, is taking your shooting hand and pointing at an object using only your mind and sight. Example, without a gun in you hand, pick out an object somewhere and point at it. With your hand at your side, bring up your hand and simply ...

Now for something completely different

abwehr, couldn't agree more, I have the RIA MS .45 (mid size) 4" bbl, I picked up mine at my local dealer for $295, it was a trade in. Someone had put night sights on it, after three mags the front sight fell off, they didn't dove tail the front sight, the dealer replaced the front sight for me...

Replacing the mainspring for lighter DA pull

Personally, I have left all my P64's original, I don't have a problem with any of them in DA or SA as is. However, I let my son-in-law shoot one of my P64's at the range last week and he couldn't even pull the trigger in DA, so, I guess there is a need to change springs for some, but for me, I prefe...

1968 P-64!

I agree, you gotta get more, I too now have all three variations ( 68',69' 73, and 76', and am looking for deals on P-64's to have as shooters and parts. For what it is worth, AIM now has CZ52's in VG++ condition for $139, I ordered two more. This past weekend at a Tallahassee gun show they were goi...
