GR,
The only pistols as you mentioned I heard of are the ones with modified mags by users here.

New spring weights and extractor question
Incidentally, Wolff is great and I'd like to see every spring on the P64 available, safety, mags..... Thanks for getting them to make some springs. I have written them more than once in the past inquiring. They have always mentioned that some time in the near future they'll have them. If available, ...

New spring weights and extractor question
I work in engineering too. If there is a stock solution, I try to use that. However, much of the time I have to improvise carefully, and with an educated, informed make-it-work attitude. I like the fixes posted here. With surplus pistols, you don't have an engineered, manufactured solution most of t...

Need input ASAP for Wolff!
I have never had a mag drop, but I have had the light trigger result in back to back firing that I would rather not have... I make sure my pull through is complete now and others who've fired mine at the range have been so informed. I may go for the 18#, but now I'll wait to see what Wolff comes up ...

Thanks Gunney! I have been meaning to get some. S&B brass commercial is some of my favorite ammo. I have not tried the surplus steel cased yet. I need to order some from AIM. AIM is one of my favorite online vendors. I have bought 1 pistol and a lot of ammo from them!

Thanks Gunny! I went to the Vancouver gunshow yesterday. It was about 1/2 as big as the rose city gunshows in Portland. Not a lot of organized dealers like Portland, mostly smaller sellers. I thought this would mean better prices, but it did not! I saw an obvious recently purchased P-1 surplus (not ...

Thanks for the link nicksterdemus They are the same firm from Salem that was at our last gunshow. They didn't have any of the Wolf Military shown on their inventory at the show. They did have the other ammo in the 15-20 range. The winchester they sell for 16 is S&B made in the Czech Republic. I ...

Hey, let me know if you find something promising in the area for brass cased mak ammo like S&B. I have a shooting course coming up that requires 600 rounds and I think the chose range is very picky about Russian ammo, but will probably allow S&B or maybe MFS..... Almost everything I have rig...

I am in the Portland area too and it is pretty slim. The last gunshow had Brown Bear mak at 12 per box! Keiths down in Portland has some ammo, but not a lot and I don't know current prices. I seem to remember the last lowest prices there to be about 10 per box, but that was 6 months ago. I buy on th...

I am a fan of S&B and Mesko also. However, S&B is really expensive now! Here its gone up about 40% over the past 6 months. I prefer to use brass. I have some Mesko left also. Its great ammo. Last range visit, I brought Silver Bear HP ammo and didn't have any issues. I fired about 75 rounds o...

I agree to some degree...... I don't agree with permanent modifications to a pistol that may affect safety. However, I'm not sure that performing a restorable modification is that bad. I save all original parts... I would not sell a permanently modified pistol. I noted on GB that most guys who have ...

The New SOG
I checked out the Portland Gun Show yesterday and saw some interesting prices on SOG items with the SOG tags still on them. CZ-52 189-195 (original parkerized finish) P64 189 (one dealer who does DA pull mod charges 225, but he was not there, he says it is a hardening mod and doesn't mention the spr...

The New SOG
I have bought several pistols from SOG, but now I can't buy anything from them. How can cutting out a sector of their business be better for them? That is just foolishness. I don't know what percent of their business is from dealers and what is from buyers who saw the VERY LIMITED portion of their i...

Abwehr, I used to think just like your friend mentioned! However, I think that any non-comliance is seen in a negative light and might lead to problems..... I don't think it is out of line to ask why the search is needed before allowing it though. If you have a vehicle shared by others or borrowed f...

Straight wall chamber bore steel vs brass
Thanks for the info guys! I think that if I can find a used progressive rig, that is the way to go. I'm gonna look harder at the next gun show here. Can factory brass like S&B or MFS be reloaded easily? I may start collecting my brass now. What are the hotter factory loads that you believe cause...
