re-blue my P-64
I reblued my old 38 revolver and for a first time attempt I could'nt be happier. I'd say it is 95% better than it was. Though it doesnt look new or flawless, it sure refurbished the old gun and I would'nt suspect it is a reblue job. The finish looks semi glossy after a nice coating of EEZOX. I think...

Norm,
Is that BROWNELLS OXPHO-BLUE LIQUID something that has to be ordered or would a gun shop or Gander Mountain store have that? I have an old 38 revolver that could use a makeover.

Wood grips durable???
I read in another forum about a guy who paid like around $200.00 for prehistoric mastadon tusk grips for a pistol. It was for a 1911 model 45 or the like. Anyway they looked really impressive but they too broke up upon firing the gun. I am in noway making any assumption concerning the wood grips tha...

BOSSIER CITY GUNSHOW a BUST
This morning (Feb 24) I went to Bill Goodman's Gun & Knive show in Dayton,Ohio. I saw 5 or 6 P-64's all in good condition between $159 to $180. Someone had the PA-63 (2 of them) for $225. I picked up some of that MFS + P 9x18 ammo that I've read about on this forum and seen for sale on the inter...

grayfox,
Those 2 tone grips are sweet. While cleaning my P-64 I tried the flat grips on for size. Of course they fit perfect. Hopefully this weekend I can fire it and see how they feel in action.

Anyone use a Don Hume holster?
That looks like a nice holster. I've been using the fobus paddle for sig 230/232. I like it fine, it is a great fit but I might try a leather one soon too.

You got a good deal at $135.00 shipped. I gave $169.00 plus tax at a gun shop just after Christmas. A place called SOG has been selling them for about $139.00 to dealers but some forum members have reported that they are out of real mint ones and the ones left have finish flaws. If you want extra ma...

I've heard many people report lots of misfires with the Wolf brand ammo. Most people including myself have not had trouble with hollow point rounds. There is a post on here somewhere that explains how someone polished their feed ramp to get sticking hollow points to feed, They said there was a sligh...

Replacing the mainspring for lighter DA pull
I have had 3 different wolf springs in my P-64 and I now have a factory spring in my pistol. The factory spring has performed with the greatest amount of reliability and that is the most important thing for me.

That looks great. I love the nickel finish. The nickel ones show off the wood grips nicely too.
