Norinco 9x18?

It's good stuff. I'm about halfway through 10 boxes of "Green Box". My PA-63 eats them without problem. J&G had some for sale recently, but it was gone within a week. Sadly, I missed out. :'(

Help me with Ammo Weight

tmcblane wrote:What is the issue with the heavier bullet? Gun does not function? When I bought mine I got 5 boxes of 115 jhp's with it. I have not shot it yet so I am looking for some guidance.
the heavier round puts more stress on the gun's frame, wearing it out faster

reducing recoil on PA-63

new springs and grips make a difference, I went all the way and got a 15 lb recoil spring; it is a bit tougher to put the slide back on, but it's worth the pain reduction!

Help me with Ammo Weight

I think the guy at J&G meant to say not to fire anything larger than 95 gr. in the P-64. Same thing with my PA-63, although I didn't know that rule applied to more than just that one gun. Learned something new today.

WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO

Greetings. I found this site searching for websites about the PA-63, and knowing that, you all let me stay anyway! I have only owned firearms since '05, starting with a Mosin M44, after seeing it constantly in ads from the local Big5 Sporting Goods store. I took the plunge, then got a M91/30. After ...

PA-63 and Power Ball ammo

My PA63 was unfired when I got it, and it had feed problems with anything but Winchester and MFS. I polished the feed ramp with some silver polish which slightly cured the problem. Now that I have put over 400 rounds through it, it shoots anything.

Winds of North Blowing Cold!

not much snow here in the flatlands, but above 2000' there is lots of it. For a day or so, So Cal was almost cut off from the rest of the world from the snow falling on the mountain passes. Most of the Mojave Desert from here to Las Vegas was covered in snow, probably the most snow in 30 years. I'm ...

PA-63 recoil spring..

a heavier recoil spring definitely makes a difference, I got the 15#. With the original spring I could not shoot more than one mag without taking a break. Now I can "shoot all day"!
