Have you tried cleaning the internal first? check the trigger bar, make sure it's not bent/rubbing against the frame, which could cause it to not move as freely. You may also try to use 1000 grip sand paper to the areas where the disconnector engages the trigger bar.

Might help if you do a complete disassembly/break down the internals, and give it a thorough cleaning. The disconnector could be hanging, not allowing the trigger bar to move up and engage the sear. How is it a misfire, as your title say? And you need to give us a little more details on how your pistol functions. What happens when you hold it correctly and pull the trigger?
You might need to completely dis-assemble/breakdown the parts and check if there's any broken parts.

I just modded my stock spring. Grinded/reduced it by a coil and a half. Re-installed it back and I can now pull it on DA, one handed. Its still stiffer compared to the 18 lbs Wolff, but it also added some weight on SA pull. I'm gonna try and see how far if I can last 100 rounds doing the DA/SA pull ...

Oops, sorry Bob, my bad. The vid I embed was the hammer spring mod. The stock recoil spring, as Curly said is 18 lbs.

@ Iklawson, In lieu of bending, the FP back to shape, can you hammer it instead? Im just thinking that just bending it, may not straighten the pin, as it would by hammering?

Bob, the original/stock spring is over 20 lbs on DA and about 4 on SA.
This guy made a measurement using a fish scale, might be crude, but at least he gets an average reading.

As in most DA/SA pistols, the trigger moves halfway back when the hammer is cock, or when the slide moves back to eject, cycle the next round, and pushes the hammer in cock/SA position. The P64 for some reason, was not designed this way, though it has a light pull, the trigger is all the way forward...
