Re: Hard time releasing mags
I took some pics just in case but boomer you might be right about the grips. I had a few minutes before people started filing in at work. I took the grips off and when I would insert the mag it went in nice and smooth and dropped free. I sanded it a just a little, thats all I had time for, and the m...

Re: Ammo prices. Wow!
918collector you are ABSOLUTELY right. I went by one table that had them (Silver Bear 9x18mm Mak) for $10 / box I believe. I am sure that was the best price there as the Brown Bear 7.62x54mm ammo was $9 at the same place. No tax, the listed price is what you paid. However, I went a couple tables do...

Re: Hard time releasing mags
I did inspect the magwell. Seems normal to me. Nothing that looks like it would cause the mag to stick. I tried pushing the mag release out of the way to see if maybe it sticks to far in. Results were the same. The mags do look like they have rub marks going top to bottom of the mags. Both seem to b...

Re: Polish Tokarevs
I'm sorry I was typing faster than I was thinking. What I meant was YUGO TT mags. There doesnt seem to be any anywhere and when they do show up they are expansive. I have people in Serbia that can get them without any problems (the mags) but I dont want to breaking any laws by bringing them into the...

What are you looking for? Modern? Surplus?
How about the Yugo M88? Its a yugo TT in 9mm. I've been thinking about one of these.

Hard time releasing mags
SO I just got my P64 and cleaned the cosmoline out of it (as much as I could) But the megs seem to not want to go in or come out. The mag that is numbered to the gun is easier to put in or pull out but the second one I have to jam in and use a screwdriver to pull out. Is this normal? Is there a fix ...

Re: Polish Tokarevs
I liked the old Polish Toks better. Ok they are the same but the new safeties are just hideous. I cant stand its look and placement. And to remove it would leave a hole on the center of the gun. My Polish TT with the circle 11 has a small safety right in front of the grip. Overall I like the Yugo sa...

Re: Why Makarov vs. Tokarev?
As much as I like both the Mak and TT given the choice I"ll take the TT every time. Now if only someone would make a modern TT handgun chambered in the x25.
I'm saving to order the x25 upper for my AR!!

Re: Hello, and mod question
i've only had 2 revolvers. One was the S&W 626 in 44mag with a 6in barrel. Not very practical to carry. the other was the 1895 Russian Nagant revolver, 7 shot 7.62x38. Neat revolver but again not to practical to carry.

Re: Hello, and mod question
Anything man made is bound to fail! I love my Toyota I'll drive it till it falls apart than I'll duct tape it together and drive it some more and than I'll get another one. IMO this whole thing blew out of proportion. Every other person is getting into an accident and just saying "well my Toyot...

Re: OC vs. CC How do you carry?
I CC because of the weird laws here in PA. You can OC anywhere but Philadelphia and I live close to and often travel to Philadelphia so I just CC. Actually I'd rather no one know I have a gun. I carry a Walther PPS 9mm 7+1 In an uncle mikes IWB holster that really needs to be replaced. I also have t...
