Why do you need an ffl to call about magazines...?The ffl I use is on vacation so can't have him call. Any of you have your ffl and already called and know how much they'll charge?

Lightening a P64
I just am thinking of ways to slim down this chunker! It's your gun. Feel free! Please get back to us with a range report. On my part, I've never really considered the P-64 to be a "chunker". Rather it is slim and compact -- much easier to carry, handle, and conceal than my Kahr P-9 which...

Makarov VS P-64 My Observations
As far as going to the range , The Mak is much more enjoyable to shoot. While I believe the P-64 is nearly as accurate, I find that I must really work at shooting it to the same level of accuracy that seems to come easily with the Mak. Yup, I have to agree that my Bulgy Mak is more pleasant to shoo...

Wanenmacher Gun Show
Gun Shows are in enough trouble as it is without this happening once or twice a year. And then everybody complains when the shows want us to unload our weapons before coming in. As though it were some sort of violation of our rights to carry loaded guns in a room filled with people, not all of whom...

Found P-64
Now I only need to find another P-64 for no more than $180 locally! Yup, $180 is still a good price for the P-64. At the gunshow here in Toledo, OH this past weekend, there was a fella selling P-64's for $149 out the door. I didn't have enough cash with me, but I managed to convince one of my frien...

Best 15 yd groups on Sandbags
Has anyone did a controlled fire for groups at 15 yds on sandbags with the P64 ? Maybe 20 yds or 25 yds as well. I really havent shot mine yet bec of busy schedule. Thanks Actually, we've had reports from our Polish brethren that they fire unsupported from 25 meters! At one time they challenged us ...

Spoke to 2 military armorers
... then the recoil is probably due to the light weight of the slide and size of the pistol. I notice that the unpleasant felt recoil of this little pistol is substantially different from the recoil I experience with other handguns. It is not so much that the 9x18 round generates all that much powe...

New -old P64
Yup, I gotta go with Stan on this one. The 16# and 17# springs make the P-64 almost a pleasant shooter. The newer guys have strong opinions, but don't know this pistol. The 20 # spring just denies the perfection you can reach with the lighter springs.

Galco Concealed carry holster for sig 232
I've seen these excellent holsters go for over a hundred dollars. If you can get one for $70, you'd better snap it up.If anyone has ever tried this holster on their P64 let me know before I drop 70 bucks on it.

P64 shooting stings my hand
There's a reason for the strong DA trigger. The pistol was carried with one in the chamber and the safety on. In an emergency close range situation the first shot is never aimed. And a strong trigger pull is important to keep the shooter from shooting his leg off while pulling the gun out. Actually...

P64 VS PA-63
Everyone must make their own choices. I am one P64 owner who chose not to mess with the factory hammer spring Indeed, that is your call. Let's hear it for the American capitalist system! You buy the gun of your choice with your own money. It belongs to you; it is under your control. If you choose t...

Barrels/Parts Source?
I also came into contact with Norm Sutton through this forum. When he says he is always glad to help someone with a gun problem, he means it. Norm is a really nice guy to get to know and he will take time from his business to help. I know, because he helped with a problem on my P-64. Thanks Norm Yu...
