Trigger Pull Problem?
I guess that maybe its an individual perception. My gun is a 1977 and I thought that the pull was pretty heavy. I did swap out the spring and its better. Like most people say, in the heat of battle, the trigger pull won't even be noticed. Most of us shoot single action when plinking so maybe we are ...

Grips??
I'm not really worried about mine breaking..maybe I should be. But I'm absolutlety salivating about a set of walnut or rosewood grips. This is a gun that I really like and enjoy carrying and I would like it to look good.

Did the HK recoil spring swap
Mongo. there is no reason that changing the recoil spring would affect the magazine dropping out. Now the mainspring would definately affect it as it tensions the release.

New Spring Option 13# spring
I aggree with B52..I don't want the SA pull any lighter than it is with a 16lb spring. I was aware of it the first time I shot mine but I was still a little surprised at how light it was.

New carry holster
Just a note to say that I have been carrying my gun in the IWB holster for a couple of weeks now and love it. Its about perfect for Fla carry.

Replacement Recoil Spring
Shouldn't be any difference. I'll be willing to bet that this spring came right out of a working 64. Why are you concerned about where the brass goes?

I went to the range with my P64
I really couldn't tell much difference between the HP loads and the ball load.People have to remember that its a small gun and a pretty potent load. As I said, I didn't find it to be too bad. No finger cut, bruises, or slide bite. I was pleased. As a primary carry gun, I too feel that reliability is...

I went to the range with my P64
Finally got to shoot mine today ;D And yes, it has quite a kick but its not that bad. I can't imagine that its any worse than a Kel-Tec 3AT . It eat the hardball and HP Bear ammo with no problems at all. I do have the 16lb spring in it and the SA pull is very light!! almost too light but I will shoo...

gun show report
Well, according to my friend, there was only one P-64 at the show and they were asking $180.00 for it. He didn't buy it as he had hoped to get one for around $150.00. I told him that he should have picked it up. I foresee the prices going up and $180.00 being a pretty good price. Anybody else priced...
