P83 Wanad grips by Marschal
The guy that does custom wood grips for your (and mine) P64's also did a set for my P83. It's not a regular option on the order page, you'll have to email him directly and ask about making a set for you. I got mine made from wattle (Tried doing thuja, but the panels were too thin to work with it), a...

Re: WANTED: Wood furniture for Armscor M5
Well I ordered the JC Higgins stock from gunstocksinc.com, now I need to find someone who can help with the fitting.

Re: Which Remora for P83?
Actually, doing some poking around on their site, the plain #12 (no bloody A, B, C, or D), its two inches shorter and probably a better fit. I'm going to write and ask if they'll let me exchange

Re: Which Remora for P83?
Got it in the mail today, the #12D. Says "For medium pistols with a barrel up to 5 inches". I have to push it way down, but it doesn't wiggle too much. They also threw in a mag holster, which practically swallows up the magazine (just the lip sticks out, but enough for me to get a grip on ...

Re: WANTED: Wood furniture for Armscor M5
I found a place that has JC Higgins Model 20 stocks for sale that they make themselves, but they say that the closest match to it is the High Standard Model 200. Is that the same as the Flite King?

Re: Which Remora for P83?
I guess that's just model #12D? Apparently that one's fitted for the Para Ord. 1911? I'll try it. They're having a 40% off sitewide sale at the moment, with one free mag holder and sweatshield upgrades, so even if it's not the right size I can resell it all to someone and not be out by too much.

Which Remora for P83?
I keep seeing recommendations for this brand of IWB for the Wanad, but there's no listing for the P83 in any of the dropdown menus when choosing a pistol fit. There's plain Mak, and P64, but no P83 specifically.
Which Remora IWB holster is best for it?

Question for preppers: FD Powder to fresh produce ratio?
Does anyone know how many whole bananas are in a 5 cup bag of freeze-dried banana powder? Fresh bananas from Food Lion are around $1 a pound, give or take 10c. A 5-cup bag of powder from NBT is just under $30, not counting S+H. Am I saving any money by getting the bag of FD powder? Or am I better of...

Re: "Tear down this wall!"
They may have sold out of the Hand Select guns. They separate them from the rest of the bunch as soon as they get a shipment in, not when someone orders with Hand Select marked. If you don't see HS on that gun's page, they're out of the higher grade.

Re: My grips are screwed. (CZ999 Compact)
That's what I'm saying. Numrich has loads of original screws for it, so that's not a problem. I just wanted to know if there was a way to make screws fit that weren't made to fit. Sounds like that'll be more trouble than its worth, so I'll just get more of the originals, and look at finding a flathe...

Re: My grips are screwed. (CZ999 Compact)
It's as accurate as you could want from something that looks like a Sig. Frame is a light alloy, so all the weight's in the slide. Barrel is chromelined, so go nuts with all the steel and cheap dirty ammo you can lay your hands on. The slide-to-frame fit is loose enough to make literally hosing it o...

Re: My grips are screwed. (CZ999 Compact)
CAI was the first place I went to, they said they don't provide parts for this pistol, but pointed me towards Numrich. I'll look at Home Depot.
