I've never tried one of those extended magazine releases (not even handled one of them), but I'd have to wonder.

I'd also try to pick up some decent ammunition - Sellier & Bellot, RWS/Geco, or Fiocchi.

"Laukart", as he calls himself on GunBroker, has been around for a long time. I've made several purchases from him. Good guy to deal with.

Nice P-64! If you do decide to have it hard-chromed, I highly recommend Mahovsky's Metalife.

Re: Newbie here. Naive question..
Ahoy! I agree with dfunk, I painted my front sight red, and the rear outlined in white. With this set up the sights show up great! Problem with these great little pistols are just like peanuts- "One is not enough!" Transport out And I agree with Transport. I always use Testors model paint...

Re: magazine problems (springs)

Re: P64 arrives today
Would getting it reblued cost much? I'm not usually one for altering the original finish but just wanted the thoughts. I know it's not a rare or expensive piece, but original is original. If you want to get it re-blued for cosmetic reasons, a good hot blue job (including disassembly and re-assembly...
