Re: Fort Pistols
The Ruger I saw on gunbroker. A few weeks ago I was looking for a P64 and in their search feild I typed in "9x18" so that way anything in that caliber would show up. One of the results was a Ruger (forget model number). I was suprised as hell. The description said it was chambered in 9x18M...

Re: Fort Pistols
Still it would be nice to have one to fill out my 9x18 my collection. Yes it would be nice to have in a 9x18 Makarov collection. Correct me if I am wrong but; as far as I can tell, the Fort pistols are the only 9x18 Makarov Semi-Auto Pistols that are not available in the U.S.A. All other 9x18 Makar...

Re: Fort Pistols
Sir PLEASE UNDERSTAND that I am in no way trying to bash the country. Its is my homeland and I know what I'm talking about. All I'm stating is what its like in the country and due to that what you can expect from it. I am not bashing Ukraine. I am Ukrainian and not 2nd 3rd or 4th generation. My mom ...

Re: Fort Pistols
I have no knowledge of these weapons. Never shot one, never owned one, never even saw one. What I have plenty of knowledge on is the people, society, and life in general in the former Soviet countries. Not to be confused with the satellite countries. Money talks.....period....end of story. If the Fo...

Re: Fort Pistols
I would not trust any weapon coming out of Ukraine for a while. At least not the post Soviet weapons that were designed and built in Ukraine. bribing, stealing and corruption is rampant. I wouldnt be surprised that one greedy CEO (or whatever) bought or sold or made crappy metal. Or the factory wor...

Re: AK-74 and 5.45x39
Overall its a lot like the 223/5.56. Low recoil, small cal, fast, meant to transfer all its energy inside soft tissue. I dont know about the commercial stuff but the surplus ammo has a hollow cavity in the tip forcing the bullet to drop once it hits soft tissue. Afghans called it the poison bullet f...

Re: How to carry...
I carry my 6+1 hammer up safty off. The trigger pull is heavy that I'm not afraid of it catching on something and I'm a lefty so working the safty is a pain in the ass. I just treat the gun as a single action. Draw, pull hammer down.

Re: Polish Tokarevs
Since we're on the topic of Toks I wanted to ask if anyone knew how to figure out what holsters fit the Tok. I mean besides the nylon "one size fits all" holsters. IWB, OWB, Sholder, paddle...whatever I just need some options. My only criteria is that the holster HAS TO be left handed. Bla...

I just have a regular Nikon "point and shoot" digital camera. It was around $110 when I bought it 2 years ago. Ironically my cell phone takes better pics then my Nikon. Go figure

Re: Hello, and mod question
juniustaylor Thanks. I knew of them but never really got around to buying one. I believe at one point someone even made a 7.62x25 cylinders but I dont know how safe they would be in the Nagant. One guy at work carries a Nagant in 7.62x38. I ended up selling my as part of my effort to trim down on sa...

Re: Nepal Brunswick P-1837 from IMA-USA
Just out of curiosity. On such old rifles do you fabricate your own parts to replace the missing ones or do you hunt down parts?
Very nice job!
