Way to carry
I carry in my right hand trouser pocket, one in the tube, safety on. I have no problem at all taking the safety off while it is still in my pocket. With it in my pocket I can stand anywhere with the pistol in my hand with the safety flipped off and simply look like a guy standing there with his hand...

How many have a CHL?
Just curious as to how many here have a concealed handgun license? How long have you had it? What was it that made you decide to get one? Have you ever needed it? I got mine about two years ago. I decided that I am too old to fight worth a hoot or to run very fast, so if I ever got into trouble I wa...

Girls Who Love Guns
I would be quite willing to go to that tactical training course. It was also a unique study of the physics of shock waves traveling thru flesh, very interesting study.

US Army - RA - August 18, 1971 to August 16, 1974. I am reminded of a Naval museum in Charleston harbor that I visited once. There was a WWII destroyer there that you could walk around inside of, among other boats. It had a guest sign in book. I was reading thru the comments that people had left and...

Reason for CCW
This is both a very simple, and complicated subject. The simple way of looking at it, which is my preference, is that there should be no more laws or regulations or restrictions regarding firearms than there are regarding kitchen knives. The complicated way of looking at is that America is made up o...

THANK YOU VETERANS
Here is one to my Dad - he served in combat zones in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. I was looking at some veterans day facts on the web, and found that he was one of only 143,000 soldiers to have served in those three wars. I don't know how many of those served in combat zones, nor how may are still alive...

Neat holster Idea (pretty cheap to)
Maybe my 50 plus year old brain is vapor locked, but I won't be wearing cargo pants anytime soon. Other than that, it isn't all that bad of an idea - kind of in the same genre as the smartcarry. I purchased one of those smartcarry holsters, it worked OK, but I just never liked having a pistol floati...

P-64 as a carry weapon.
One of the things I have mentioned to her, on numerous occasions, is that I can buy a gun and it will just become more valuable, so that it is an investment. Unlike appliances and such that don't hold their value. I don't think many women understand that - they understand that if you buy a new tv, t...

How does it feel on a hot summer day?
We get over 100 here pretty regular for 3 months out of the year, and sweat just runs like a fountain when it is that hot.

I think she actually prefers the 22 - although it is hard to say as she doesn't really enjoy shooting. We have a pretty good deal going on me buying guns - as long as she doesn't see me bringing them in she doesn't know they are new. She just knows that I have a lot of guns and they all kind of look...

P-64 as a carry weapon.
My wife has a .22 revolver, a .32 revolver and a Makarov. They all seem to work just fine for her, and since she has been trained to empty the entire cylinder/clip into COM, I think they will do the job for her. She also has two small dogs. We came about as close to arguing as we have ever come over...
