Re: #$%&^*!@# these things are hard to work on!

Good times, good times. I remember crawling around on all fours for hours looking for that spring before I wife found it laying in the sink. Luckily it didn't go down the drain. What a PITA.

If this doesn't work something is bound or you have a spring issue. Remove any magazine. Pull the trigger guard down and push it to ...

Re: PA-63 and P-64?

Unfortunately the P64 is just a tad too big except for a few pairs of jeans I wear. I've carried it in a front pocket or in my back pocket with an untucked shirt to cover the exposed back strap. For dress slacks the P3AT is the only way to go. I carry a Bulgarian Makarov most of the time with the P6...

Re: Best source for 9x18 Bullets

Thanks Norm, that is an awesome link. Was thinking I would order from either Berry's or Miester. I know you cast your own, but do you have an opinion on either of the two?

Markings on the frame...new to this

Welcome to the world of surplus pistols. I think every time someone picked a gun up they had to stamp something somewhere. All of my surplus guns have stuff stamped all over the place.

I purchased a P-64 in excellent condition.

First you will need to take a trip in the way back machine to pre 1983 Poland ... Just kidding.
The P64's are surplus guns and finding one in like new condition is gonna take a little bit of luck.
Happy hunting!

New, considering a P64 for a CC or BUG

I installed an 18lbs hammer spring and had magazine issues. Would drop the magazine on the last round, sometimes. Even though I almost considered the auto mag drop a feature, I swapped it out for a 19lbs spring without any other issues. I need to buy a trigger scale, or fish scale, to measure the DA...
