Manufacture and serial #s

Best to start with the Resource page http://www.p64resource.com/
And then ask questions from there -- congrats on your new P-64.

recoil info-come on, put in your 2 cents

Just put the Handall Jr on mine tonight. Followed the included instructions.
With a little patience I was able to work it into place. Took about 10 minutes. Much easier than it was putting one my cz 82.

recoil info-come on, put in your 2 cents

I finally got to the range with my 68 with 22 lbs recoil and 18 lbs main springs installed. Wow, now that is recoil -- can't imagine what this would be like with a lighter recoil spring. Fun gun though, accurate and conceals well. Will put 50 rounds through it when ever I get to the range, but it wi...

An SMC-918 just sold for over $400 on gun broker. I wonder what people are thinking these days.

I notice the older is a little less cautious that the younger. Typical kids.

please tell me there is nothing wrong with my gun

I think your describing the notch which allows the extractor to grip the rim of the case. Don't think anything is wrong with your gun.

22 lbs Recoil Spring

I ground the ends flat with a dremel tool because the slide wouldn't go on it with the new spring. In the process realized it wouldn't go back on with the original spring either. While fussing with it I had press the trigger pin out a fraction of an inch and it was preventing the slide from going on...

22 lbs Recoil Spring

Got the 22 lbs recoil spring and 18 lbs main spring installed. DA trigger pull is still pretty stout. Anyone measured the trigger pull weight after putting in the 18 pounder?

22 lbs Recoil Spring

I'm waiting to pick up my P64. Mean while I have gotten a spring order from wolf. The issue is I bought a 22 lbs spring figuring bigger is better. Doesn't look like that is the case from what I have been able to find on this board. Does 22 lbs recoil spring work in a P64? Does it need to be modified...
