Re: My P-64 Arrived Today!
The UPS guy just dropped off a heavy box of ammo from Wideners.com so It looks like I will get to do some testing this weekend! I bought the Red Army 9x18 It was packeaged nicely in their Range Pack Box. Each of these boxes contains three nicely packed 50 round boxes with the rounds sorted in nice p...

Re: My P-64 Arrived Today!
Nice P-64! If you do decide to have it hard-chromed, I highly recommend Mahovsky's Metalife. That is who I was thinking of but couldn't spell it in my first post. I have seen his work and he is probably the best out there and a good price. I saw this picture online which looks more 007'ish o...

Re: Looking for advice and input
So the surplus has less punch? I was surprised to read that. I have a CZ52 in 7.62x25 and found the military surplus had a lot more punch than the new factory loads like S&B. I saw a video where the old milsurp 7.62x25 pierced Level 3 body amour but the modern factory loads could not.

Re: Has this been done?
Thanks, but why would someone want the round hammer instead of the triangular one? I can work the round one OK, but think the newer one would be a bit easier.manicmechanic wrote:I do believe they are. I've seen some post 74's with the round hammer.

Has this been done?
I just received my P-64. It is a 1972 with the round hammer. I would prefer the latter triangular pointed one. Are they interchangeable?

My P-64 Arrived Today!
I picked up my P-64 from my FFL today! It is a 1972 bought from Classic Firearms. Wish I would have known about these back when you guys were buying unfired pristine guns. This one doesn't look like it got much action. the barrel is pristine and the feed ramp was still blued and I had to clean some ...

Re: Where is price headed?
I think this gun is worth as much as any Makarov, PPK etc. So I thought it was a steel this week at $219 from classic firearms. Leaving now to go pick it up from the FFL!

Re: Orderd my P-64 today
The new P64 arrived at my FFL today and I hope to be able to pick it up tomorrow. The wolf springs arrived today as well. One question I have is the recoil spring came packaged with a small spring that looks like a firing pin spring. In another bag was the new hammer spring. I am not sure what the e...

Re: Orderd my P-64 today
I have already placed an order for the Wolf Springs and wood grips from Grips4U.com They will probably be here before the gun. Everything I have read has led me to believe that with just a couple of fixes, this gun is probably better than the other choices I looked at which where primarily Eastern b...

Welcome to the site, always lots of good info here. If your looking for grips with a shorter turnaround time, try here: http://www.grips4u.net/ Good luck and welcome aboard I bought from grips4U for my CZ82 after frustrations with communication and the long quoted wait time from Marschal. I could n...

Re: New site for P-64 grips
I have Grips 4 U on my CZ82 and they are very, very nice! I wanted grips from Dennis but the long wait turned me off. I doubt the Marschal could be much better.

Orderd my P-64 today
After getting my daily email from Classic Firearms I noticed they had P-64's for $219.00 I was looking for a CCW pistol that would be smaller than my CZ82 and this looked liked a cool gun. I did a bunch of research including reading posts on here and decided to make the purchase! As soon as the purc...
