Fiocchi Brass
I used some Fiocchi brass on my reloads for the PP Super and didn't have any problems at all with softness. I used my standard procedure on reloads and everything was ok. I loaded 150 rounds of different bullets RN, FN, TRN and everything worked well. The only reason I am bringing this up because so...

Hammer Spring
Got my P64 today and a set of Wolff hammer Springs. 18# thru 20#, first tried the 18# and this really helped the DA mode of the pistol only problem is the wind blew across the pistol the SA fired. Talk about a hair trigger I couldn't take that so I removed the 18 and replaced it with the 19# spring,...

I guess I had better quit this topic before I say something I would regret later.

Re: First one for me.
I have never been in a court of law for anything, so I don't know anything about how they would go about examining a pistol. European style of CCW is with a smaller pistol you don't just shoot once if close enough you empty magazine into perp's chest or whatever, which causes massive hemoragging and...

Re: First one for me.
I don't think you lighten up the spring pressure that much. Somebody help me if I am wrong, If you go from 25# to 15 or 16#'s anything is a help. I don't think there is any such thing as a hair trigger on the P64 from what I have heard. My buddy Junius changed his to a 17# spring but I don't know wh...

Re: New Topic Maybe?
Thank you very much for the answer to my question. Now I will load some 93gr cast bullets for it. I need to look on this site for some reload ammunition. Although I really don't need any ammunition I have lots but I want some lightly loaded ammo because I am a sissy and really hate the stinging hand...

Re: First one for me.
I have heard that the ATF went and downgraded these to a C&R Status and some of the Curio people went out and bought everything on market. I don't know if that is true but that's what I read and heard. I found a really nice one on Gunbroker but had to pay a nice price for it. I intend to use it ...

New Topic Maybe?
Looking in several of the different manuals I see the round for the P64 is a 71gr bullet. Is this a misprint or error? 71gr would make and awfully short bullet and who makes and sells them? 71gr is more of a 7.65mm gun not 9x18mm. If this is so no wonder the P64 kicks so much it needs a smaller bull...

Walther PP Super 9 X 18mm Ultra
Just bought me a new toy a Walther 9X18mm 9mm Ultra,b ullet is a .355 instead of a .364 like a P64. Only about two thousand of these produced. It looks like the data for the Ultra loading is about dead one with the Makarov. Except for the bullet size. I found brass and bullets so I can reload them a...

Re: Thinking about buying a P-83 Wanad but need some help.
Very stout pistol, only real crudness of pistol is sharp edges and not enough exterior work on pistol with fine sand paper. If you wanted too and had time you could make it into a nice looking pistol. Of course with a re-bluing. The P83 is more of a combat type of pistol than a CCW even if you refin...

Re: Bulgarian Makarov
They make that Bulgarian Makarov one beautiful pistol, if it shoots as well as it looks you have it made forever. I have a BG coming tomorrow but I don't think it looks a good as yours.

Re: Bulgarian Makarov
Junius, I just don't care to shoot at Bullet Stop as they act like they are doing you a favor everytime you go in to their store. I've known the owner for about 30yrs and he didn't used to be that way, but sucess must have gone to his head. I've loaded up some 93gr lead bullets for the Mak and will ...

Re: Bulgarian Makarov
I have never had any SilverBear HPs so I don't know what they are. I always had my own reloads and steel bullets I bought one time for a 1000rds cheap.

Re: Bulgarian Makarov
They tell me the steel core bullets go thru their backstops, so I can blame them for no allowing the bullets. This tells me the Russian steel bullets get more penetration than the lead ones. I don't know if that is bad or good, someone gets shot with a steel bullet from a Makarov and the bullet goes...
