Re: Safety broke, bought eBay CNC replacements
Another guy in Poland is selling originals right for on Ebay for 50 dollars.
A bit steep if you ask me. But I'd pay if mine busted, that's for sure.

Re: Police training models
The "school" ones, right?
I guess more specifically I want to know if I can buy one for parts. Not so much fix the training pistol, but to get some needed extra stuff. By its good to know they can't be fixed themselves.
Thanks!

Police training models
Anyone have the skinny in the police models?
I know they are cut open on the barrel, but can they operate with a new barrel? Do you need to DROS them?
Are the other parts usable?
Any insight is helpful, I got offered 2 for 200 and want to do it if it's a good deal.
Thanks folks!

Re: Parts most likely to break
Safety levers x10.
That's really it. I personally choose to have a few extra parts like firing pin and springs. But if you can find safeties..that's the one I've heard of breaking the most.

Re: Best place from which to buy my P-64?
Same here - I got my original P64 from AIM and it was 99%+ (save for the safety was busted). BUT - they took it back without any stink and were willing to work something. They were great. I also buy a lot of ammo from them. They have great people there and the best prices I've found. CLose second f...

Re: Best place from which to buy my P-64?
BTW, DK is "SOLD OUT"! Yes Sir, they are sold out. It would be your decision, but you might want to consider doing the same as what I have done. I emailed DK Firearms and have received an acknowledgement . I requested that if and when they receive another shipment of P-64's that I be put ...

Re: Best place from which to buy my P-64?
I love the polish iron grips. But I'd do Marschal in a second if I could afford to right now. I know they don't chill The recoil much..from what I've heard, but even so, they look slick. The Polish IG: The recoil difference is really noticable. There is no binding for me, but the bar does squeak a l...

Re: Best place from which to buy my P-64?
FWIW - Southern Ohio Gun has a good sale on p64s. $195. But I'd go with DK, still. it comes with 2 mags and they are a great company.
I wish I had extra cash, I'd get the 2 for $175/ea and sell one and keep one for parts.
Alas, I do not.
Best,
Cyn.

Re: Best place from which to buy my P-64?
Check my thread ("P64 newb...") about a broken safety. Folks went through the options with me. The best customer service and quality I've found is DK firearms. I got a wonderful P64 from them and the shipping and service were top notch. Worth the little extra they charge, 100%. The others ...

Re: RTG Shoulder Holster
Does anyone have any photos of a P64 in the holster? Or photos of what it looks like wearing one? I second that request. Curious what would be the best setup for keeping it concealed and comfortable, as well. It get's hot where I am so I don't want to be be constantly wearing a heavy over shirt to ...

Re: Best choice of Wolff replacement springs for an P-64?
I bought the 18 and 19 hammer and the 22 recoil. I installed the 22 recoil and noticed a slight, but recognizable, difference. I also installed the Iron Grips - which made quite a difference in felt recoil. However, my P64 has such a light, crisp, and perfect SA, that I didn't want to mess with it b...
