Is it safe to soak the magazine in degreaser?

Some of the magazine's parts look plastic.

Would it be safe to let them soak in diseal fuel overnight?

Questions about my first P-64.

I just purchased my first P-64 made in 68 and I have a few questions. The first one is how to degrease it, I saw this advice in a another thread and had a few questions: take the grips and the slide off then soak in a solvent then blow off with brake cleaner or WD 40 then lightly oil if safety is ha...

Brown Bear?

Anyone ever used:

Brown Bear, Russia
94 grain FMJ
Bimetal case, non-corrosive

in their P-64's?

If you have, what did you think about it?

Would you buy it again?

OT: "made" at work today

It's illegal to discuss employment other than to verify legnth of employment. This has been the case for many years. A potential employer can run a background check to verify this information and probably would never contact the previous employer.
that is what i have been told also

OT: "made" at work today

My problem now is getting a job elsewhere is going to be next to impossible, I've worked there for 3 years, almost 4 and I cant just not leave that off of an employment application. And when they are called for reference and to ask why I was fired you guys know what will be said. I believe that if ...

Japan has just as much murder rate as ours if not more but not with guns but with knives from what I have been told (could be wrong) as for poverty I believe in a hand up not a hand out NORM Murders (per capita) by country United States: 0.042802 per 1,000 people (or 4.2802 murders per 100000) Japa...

20/20 ON GUN CONTROL

Got one bone to pick--one reason Japan, Switzerland, etc do not have the crime rate we do is that they do not have the civil liberties we do. For example, in Japan police are authorized to make so many warrantless "home visits" per year, just walk in and inspect your home...relative wealt...

20/20 ON GUN CONTROL

Excellent posts, I know I would prefer living in a free society with some crime to an authoritarian police state any day.

With freedom comes responsibility, some people will always struggle with that, but I find it much preferable to uncheck governmental power.
