How to install back the trigger bar ?

For some reason i was fiddling with my P64 and cocked the hammer and removed the slide . I pulled the trigger and the hammer fell. I recocked the hammer and the problem started. I pulled trigger and the hammer stayed cocked. I proceeded to remove both grips and tried pulling trigger several times bu...

Spoke to 2 military armorers

Id say the P64 is one very robust design thats underrated. The bluing itself is like the EG makarov, deep and polished, takes a lot to fade. The SIg 228 I have didnt take too long to have its phosphate finish faded. These Polish pistols are worth the money.

Range report after springs replacement

I left mine original for now. I like the fact the SA is not a hairy light liek 3.5 lbs break. Some say the SA gets lighter after changing the spring aside from the DA getting lighter? Have you noticed any difference? Im concern the SA will be too light be thats the case. thanks

Don Humes 715 IWB , any one using it

For P64 concealed carry, is it the 715 for SIg 232 or Makarov that fits right ? Just wondering if someone here find the right fit for the P64 .

How to remove P64 firing pin to clean channel?

I think your idea of blasting with a chemical cleaner is a good one. I will just do that instead of messing up on reassembling back the whole thing. Thanks again . I m beginning to love this little P64. Again what a wondering feeling to have a gun made when I was just 6 yrs old in 1973. Thank goodne...

How to remove P64 firing pin to clean channel?

I just dont have any idea how to go about it. I would like to clean the channel of any factory grease to prefvent slam fire phenomenon. I have done that to my Russian Makarov which is easy but how about the P64 , is the firing pin spring loaded or not?
Thanks

P64 shooting stings my hand

I went to a local pawnshop today, they have a 1976 p64 with thumbrest , extra mag and in a black plastic case. Price at $269. My firsttime to handle one and the DA was really stiff. The SA was a hairy trigger. There was no slack in SA. It breaks right quick maybe 3 lbs in SA. Whoa, you have to be re...
