Yes I was. I has a almost senior moment this morning 15 minutes down the road when I realized
I had forgot the camera. :( There were some awesome photo ops today too. Crap!

Finaly got to shoot my P64 today.

Work has been so busy lately I just haven't had a chance to do any shooting. I picked up 1000 once fired PMC 9mm Luger brass off of Gunbroker recently. I trimmed about half of them down to 9X18 specs and reloaded 400 rounds with Missouri Bullets 93gr cast bullets. 100 each of the following: 3.5gr Un...

Re: Most Accurate Pistol I have ever owned!

Glad to see someone posted some revolvers, so if "Pistols" include revolvers, my most accurate Pistols are my S&W Highway Patrol .357's http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e186/gunnut701/HighwayPatrol643.jpg I hear you there Papa I had a S&W Model 27 similar to your Model 28's with ...

Re: another source for p-64 grips!

I ordered a set of the checkered Rosewood grips from this guy. I'll post some pics when they come in.

Re: New Rock Island Armory CS

Great looking gun! Is that an Officer sized frame? If I had G.I. rear sight cuts on mine, I'd opt for the Yost retro rear sight: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=520785&t=11082005 Thanks Pal! Yea, it's a Officer size frame. I'm semi old school when it comes to handgun sights....

New Rock Island Armory CS

I just picked up a Rock CS. I got a set of cocobollo double diamond checkered grips off of eBay for it for around $25 and a Pearce finger groove insert. This gun is NICE! I'm going to try and get out this weekend and throw some rounds down the pipe of this bad boy and my new MS as well. I think some...

Re: C&R P64.............

Remember that many of the 01 FFL dealers are just "protecting" their turf. A 01 FFL friend of mine hates the 03 FFL C&R people because he thinks they are taking money out of his pocket as they by-pass him and other 01 FFL vendors. They hve no incentive to accomodate those of us with a...

Re: C&R P64.............

How do you convince a dealer that the p64 is c&r? The guy wants "PROOF" that there c&r. You would think that people in the business of selling firearms would know the laws. Denny If you go on Gunbroker.com they have a FFL locator. You just enter your zip code and it gives you FFL'...

Re: Yugo M48A

That's a nice M48A Papa! You got a hell of a deal on it too!
I have 2 M48's myself. They are deadly accurate with the right ammo.
(M75 Yugo sniper 8mm) 24/47 Yugo Mausers are real good shooters too.

E.G. Makarov?

I own a Bulgarian Makarov. I really like it. I'm tempted to get a East German Mak. For those of you that own a DDR (AKA E.G Mak) are they worth it to you? I'm thinking they aren't going to get any cheaper or more pleantiful, so I better move on one soon If I'm going to move at all. What say you? Rob...

Re: comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?

Both good guns, but CZ82 a bit large for CCW (IMO) tho much nicer/easier to shoot. Seems to me the P64/P63 serve same purpose--good for CCW with lousy DA pulls. Solution: get a P83! Great DA, accurate, and small enough for CCW-- My PA63 had a horrible DA trigger pull when I first got it. That was t...

Re: comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?

I own both of them. They are both cool in their own ways. The PA63 is real light and it points nice. With Silver bear FMJ and Wolf FMJ ammo it feels real snappy in your hand when you shoot it because of the light weight alloy frame. After a half a box of ammo I am ready to put it up. I think with re...

Congratulationes dude! How ever, be very carefull; they are an addictiion and have a curiouse way of multipyling. One turns into two, two turns into three and before you know it they are just like rabbits popping up every where. Take it from some one who knows, a fellow addict, save your self now a...
