Re: A Few SA Revolvers

Thanks Papabear. I really like that Bisley 45! Beautiful! I Like my 41Mag, but prefer the shorter
4 5/8" barrel to the 6 1/2". I hope to fix that soon.

Re: 9x18 ammo?????

Although it goes bang when you pull the trigger I have found the Russian ammo (Silver Bear, Brown Bear, Wolf, Brunal and others) to be loaded a bit too hot for good accuracy in my 9X18's. I much prefer reloads using cut down 9mm Luger brass and Missouri Bullets 93gr rnl bullets. Although it takes a ...

Re: Heads up. RTG has surplus and brand new 8rnd Makarov mag

Got my Makarov mags from RTG today. They said they are "surplus". They look more like brand new! They don't look like they have ever been used at all! I highly recommend these to Makarov owners out there. For $12 each + shipping you can't beat that deal! Robert

Re: another source for p-64 grips!

Thanks for posting pics. Wow. That's kind of a buzz kill. I don't blame you
for not liking how they fit by leaving the front of the grip frame exposed.
Mine should get here by the end of the month. I wil post pics, good, bad,
or ugly.

Re: Heads up. RTG has surplus and brand new 8rnd Makarov mag

Yea, I just ordered 3 of the surplus ones. He has real good prices on them compared to some sellers
on Gunbroker.com. I always try to get the real deal mags vs those cheap aftermarket copies whenever
I can. They give you way less headaches.

Heads up. RTG has surplus and brand new 8rnd Makarov mags

A place in Az. called RTG has surplus and brand new in the wrap Makarov magazines for sale. $12 each or 10 for $100 for the surplus. $150 for 10 new in the wrap. Good prices. They claim they are East German, but from what others have said some are Russian. It's a good deal wherever they come from. R...

Re: Bulgarian Makarov

I love my Bulgy Mak! It is my absolute hands down favorite 9X18 pistol to shoot and to carry. It fits my hand perfectly and I can hit what I aim at with it. SOG has them on sale now for $225 with 2 mags, a holster, and a lanyard in unissued condition. I'm going to get one soon. They are sweet rugged...

Heads up. This place has a few P64's

I found this place from another forum. I have never ordered from them, so I can't say how they do business first hand. I do know they are located in Colorado and they have 4 P64's in stock. $201.54 for the pistol, 2 mags, and holster. Don't know what they charge for shipping. Robert http://store.pra...

Re: Sticky, Gritty Slide?

Try some synthetic grease with a thin float of oil(synthetic too) on the rails and give that a shot. I think you'll like it alot. +1 Give it a good cleaning. I have been using Gun Scrubber from Birchwood Casey. It is an aerosol spray that blasts off dirt and grit. Then I use Break Free CLP for oil ...

Re: Finaly got to shoot my P64 today.

Thanks for the replies and concerns fellas. No worries though. I have been going out to this area for over 40 years. I know it quite well and it's quite safe. I also like to think I'm prepared for anything that would pop up. It's a long ride out there for me. ( 4 hours each way) My time is limited o...
