C&R License
I got my C&R mailed by itself, then a week or 2 later i got the thick envelope with all of the stuff in the pic above. It doesn't make much sense to me to send the FFL separate from everything else, but thats a government operation for you.

.357 Factory Reloads.
I have read that bullet dislodging is a fairly common issue with ultra lightweight .357s. I have also never seen any "real" .357 loads that were not crimped. Not being crimped is probably the biggest factor in this situation, it could also be the cause of the cowboy style smoke (incomplete...

.25 acp
My Hornady reloading manual says its not even worth the trouble to reload .25acp -- then it gives recipes for it. Like Garry said, If you are going to shoot .25acp in any great quantity then it would definitely be worth it just because of the cost. Just watch your powder charges like a hawk, I imagi...

Romanian AK-74
Finally got the range today to shoot my AK! Man its fun to shoot. I did a 50 round barrel break in procedure, during which I had a few mis-feeds and jams. The next 50 rounds fed without any problems. Accuracy was acceptable at 25 and 50 yards, though I still need to tune in the front sight. Also, I ...

I dont like glocks either and will never own one. Having said that, with the grossly over sized chambers and from the design/angle of the feed ramp that are incorporated into the design of the pistol there is no reason why steel cased ammo (or aluminum cased for that matter) wouldn't work just as we...

anytime michaelap, like I said Im NOT a father, but its my opinion that it is never to early to teach kids the basics of shooting and safety. Some of the most fun I have had while shooting was helping my little sisters and brother to shoot.

Michaelap, I know you directed your question at fathers (as I am not) but I was about 2 when I started shooting my dads 22 revolver and I was about 4 when I started shooting a 9mm (no joke, I just confirmed this with my dad). I remember one time when I was about 5 my dad let me shoot his T/C Contend...
