Happy Thanksgiviing

Just wanted to wish all members of the boards a Happy Thanksgiving. Cold and snowy here in Wyoming, winter is here early and seems Mama Nature is a bit cranky this year. Hope everyone is in good health and will enjoy time with their families or loved ones. And to all those serving, either at home or...

Re: Help please re: old tula 9x18 makarov ammo

Fifthelement welcome to the Forum. I for one have never heard of 9x18 ammo loaded with 65 grain bullets. To my knowledge the round was designed with 93-95 grains as standard bullet weights.

Re: Sights the old fashioned way...

Sounds great. I have recently acquired a Zastava M70 which also has tiny sights and I may try this on that pistol. Thanks much for the review sir.

Re: Magazines for my P-64

No they are not. There was a small redesign in 1974(? little help here guys if I am wrong) that involved the magazines. The newer designs had slighter longer feed lips and the Keep Shooting mags copy these. The older ones have shorter feed lips and will work in the later model guns but the newer mag...

Go with Vortex. Quality is way above their price point. I swear by their optics, both bino's and scopes.

Re: Sights the old fashioned way...

Wow, unique answer to the problem of finding the front site on these pistols. I like it and may experiment with it a bit. I just picked up a Zastava M70 that has the same problem, small hard to see sights, this may be the answer. Thanks for the info. Keep us posted on how durable this is.
