New P-64 FTF's (but accurate)

Here we go again! ;D I hope we can all keep a good humor about points we disagree on this time around. Dissassemble and clean. I said that before the brake cleaner suggestion came up, if you all will review the posts! All brake cleaner is made to cut brake fluid, though it may serve to melt oil and ...

New P-64 FTF's (but accurate)

This is just my opinion, but according to this excerpt from a Material Safety Data sheet concerning brake cleaners and carburetor cleaners, I would recommend Mineral Spirits or Naptha. They are more appropriate solvents for grease, oil and cosmoline and much, much safer: http://img.photobucket.com/a...

New P-64 FTF's (but accurate)

Take the mag apart and clean it very well, inside and out. Lube very lightly with gun oil.

If you have not already done so, detail strip ;and clean and lube the pistol.

Welcome aboard!

Ammo buy?

Trent,

I know, I've seen that advertisement from them! LOL! ;D There are a bunch of people out there in America, though, that know absolutely nothing about the ammo market, and never look anywhere but mainline American retailers for ammo, and they jump on that thinking they're getting a deal.

Custom plastic grips

Solid black epoxy resin inlays are sometimes created with a clear catalyst and a black resin. http://www.answers.com/topic/epoxy-1 https://www.epoxy.com/ or other links from the Google search page for "Colores Epoxy Resin" I hope that this expands your choices so you can come up with a mor...

Safety Red Dot / locking problem

Back to applying the fire red color to the indent intended for it at the bottom of the relieved area in the slide where the safety lever rests. Clean it with alcohol before applying the paint. Model paint is sufficient. Let a couple of drops fall back into the paint jar off the toothpick before you ...

Haven't been on much.

I think we may have to start calling him "Brother Anj". That sounds a whole lot like a lesson from the One and Only Big Spirit in the Sky! I believe it is irrefutably true.

How to adjust sights

It just takes a brass or Poly punch and a hammer to tap it over. I have an idea though that it won't help to move the rear sight to the left if the poi is already off to the left. The point of impact will move left if you move the rear sight left, and it will move right if you move the rear sight to...

CZ-82?

does anyone know how the cz82 would handle wolf 109grain? I don't think you would have any trouble with them in the CZ 82. They are certainly not too hot. If the ogive doesn't kick them crazy on the way to the chamber, they should work. Don't buy a case lot until you've tried them out. My CZ 82 wor...
