Re-assembly prob after field strip
Hi guys - Thanks for the responses. No, I did check the trigger guard, I know it has a habit of shifting out of position. Not sure how the placement of the slide stop should look, I'll have to investigate this. I noticed when I engaged/unengaged the trigger guard, it didn't seem to "move" ...

Re-assembly prob after field strip
Strange. Last night I field stripped my P-64, wiped it down, etc. When I got ready to put the slide back on, I found that it just wouldn't slip on... Now, I taken the slide off/on countless times and not had a problem. I felt like an idiot, went and did something else for a while, came back to it, a...

PA-63???
Hi guys - Sorry if I'm hijacking this topic for a second. How does one go about buying a pistol from somewhere like SOG, AIM, etc.? I do know of a local pawnshop that will do FFL transfers for $25. Just wondering the procedure you have to go thru to the whole purchase, and receiving the pistol. Than...

SWEET!!
I too had the same reaction late last week when I did the spring swap - used a 16#. The DA is much better, just got back from the range and it was still a tough pull though. Maybe there is a 14# spring in my future.
I was glad to see that there were no premature mag drops though. S&B 95gr FMJ

Yet Another P-64 Newbie, Range Report
Thanks for the welcome, guys!
I did check my grips again tonight, and there seems to just be a little play in both, probably just the way it is. I guess I'll have to order a new pair from the grip maker here and see if they are better... ;D

Yet Another P-64 Newbie, Range Report
Hi guys: I have been interested in the P-64 for a while now and have been following this website. I finally picked one of the little gems up last week, a 1972 variant. As mentioned here, I field stripped and ended up just spraying on tons of Break-Free and letting the gun soak over night. The next d...
