What I learned about my p-64 today . . .

Gentlemen, This has been good discussion but the main issue is there is so many different handguns, so many different personalities, that from reading this, I've come to the conclusion that all are correct for electing to "carry" the way they feel comfortable. I would not be worried about ...

Oh-Boy! My New Toy (P6/P-225)

Just ordered my grips from Numrich. I'm going to have to make them work. I've looked around and grips for a P6 are available but not without a hefty price. 25 bucks works for me and I'll break out the Dremel tool and get them to fit. I bought a P6 from Aim. Had a little more holster wear than I woul...

Walther/S&W .380 PPK/S

Hi Carguy, I didn't think you were suggesting that I get rid of my Walther. I took your experience for exactly what it was, thats why we're here. It's good discussion. Still can't get over how sharp the edges are on that thing. I'm going to gently use an Arkansas stone on some of the edges and see w...

Walther/S&W .380 PPK/S

Gentleman, I'm not giving up on the Walther, just disappointed in S&W. Might try and locate a cerimic file or something along those lines. I have the handgun sitting next to me now and have been messing with it. You can see the machining that went into the gun. It looks great, but another trip a...

Walther/S&W .380 PPK/S

Bought a new Walther PPKS 3 wks ago in .380. Really love the pistol or I wouldn't have bought it. But it seems like S&W could have spent a little more time and money in rounding out some sharp edges. Took it out and it is breaking in real nicely after 100 rounds, but the beavertail has some edge...

P-64 at SOG

donnerwetter 58, Thanks, thats good info. I have been to Aim and picked up a CZ 52 and 82 from them. I can understand why local dealers don't care for Aim selling retail. Sort of figured the opposite held true for SOG because their site is closed to prices. I'll try some of your suggestions. I'm in ...

Where is everyone from?

New to the forum, purchased a P64 a month ago, love it. I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I'm a Navy Vet, Electrical Contractor by trade, three son's (grown), a great wife that does not understand my obsession with shooting but is VERY tolerant. I'm lucky to be an American.
