Re: Review: Keepshooting P64 Magazines
Thanks for the review on the Keepjamming magazines. I just checked and SOG still has them listed. When you enter in the search box, do not us a dash--use---p64 The middle one is their number: Polish Makarov P64 Magazine SAC-P64MAG $17.95 Are these the same ones as keepshooting, or are they factory ...

Review: Keepshooting P64 Magazines
To start off, I'm relatively new to the P64, but other than the craptastic DA pull, it's a fantastic pistol with incredible accuracy, and zero problems. It's got a 1976 born-on date, and only came with 1 magazine...searching for spares turned up keepshooting.com Strong points: Brand new Relatively i...

I polished the feed ramp recently as well; I haven't had feed issues when firing, but hand-cycling would occasionally result in feed issues, such as failing to completely chamber and close the breech. I just used metal polishing compound and a tiny polishing tip for my RTX. Worked well, although I h...

Re: brass plating?
You'd have to be one heck of a fast muzzleloader to get the barrel to discolor from heat...I have to pump several rounds a minute through my shotty to get the barrel hot enough to where it *might* get uncomfortable to touch the barrel. With that said, never brass plated anything...have copper and ni...

Re: Silver Bear vs Tula
Same here. However, I will mention that the SB has significantly less recoil than the couple boxes of JHP steel-case milsurp rounds I tried...which to me implies a smaller charge with the newer ammo. The SB JHP's are also 94 gr instead of 95 gr for the milsurp.

Re: Another New Guy Here!
New owner here as well, although I purchased from a private seller in the area who was downsizing their collection. Looks to have never been fired (ever), and is near mint. Came with a few boxes of ammo and a single mag for a little over ~$200. I spent a few hours cleaning and lubing it, as there we...
