Vepr .308
I think I read somewhere that the manufacturer's recommended service life (not the actual phrasing but I can't think of it right now) on one of those Kel-Tecs is like 3k-6k rounds, which is absurdly short for a modern firearm. I'm sure they lowball it to be on the safe side, but even 10k is very sho...

Vepr .308
The Saigas are supposed to be quite nice for the money, although 20-round .308 mags are upwards of $50 on gunbroker. That's not necessarily a bad thing though, since with ammo prices being what they are I wouldn't want to shoot 20 rounds of .308 at a time anyway The VEPRs are from what I understand ...

My first AR15
Thanks for the kind words, guys. :) I took it out and shot it on my friends land this weekend. Didn't shoot it at any paper, but it hit pretty much everything else I tried to. The recoil surprised me a little since I didn't think it would kick like it did, but it's nothing compared to everything els...

My first AR15
I got my upper in the mail today, so it's as finished as I can afford right now. Sabre Defense lower with Magpul furniture, Stag upper with factory-installed rails and rear folding sight. http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/7163/img0046lw4.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/5864/img0048en2.jpg Qu...

My trigger bar broke :(
Well, my trigger bar came in yesterday, and I installed it today. Everything seems to work correctly, aside from one small thing: When I took the gun apart a few days ago I lost the little washer thing that sits on top of the hammer spring, and now the DA pull seems to be less than that of my father...

Parts for P64 or PA 63
That's great, and after I had to buy parts off of gunbroker for probably more than TNguns will sell them. Oh well, now I'll be able to replace these when they break.

My trigger bar broke :(
Short version of the story is: I picked up a P64 about a month ago from a local shop. 1968 date, a few scratches on the trigger guard but otherwise in great shape. I've put about 125 rounds through it - 50 Wolf 105gr, 50 Wolf military classic 95gr, and half a box of Silver Bear HP. I had it at the r...
