I got two 1968's, both with round hammers--both with flat grips. My hamers are both blued steel, so you may have something unusual with that reddish cast.
both of my 68's are accurate, reliable and kick like mules!

Clipdraw
I, too, have the clip draw. It seems to work fine for my P-64, and really helps with the "summerware" issue. A surprisingly simple but cheap and effective solution, at least for some situations.

New guy with some questions
Searcher, Forget the P-63, and get the P-64. Dollar for dollar, you'll not find a better bargain out there than the P-64. Powerful, compact, reliable and accurate. I have two, and everytime others shoot them, they are stunned as to how accurate and reliable they are. The only downside I would say is...

Ammo Jams...
Cartercoike, A couple of things come to mind, one of which is it always jamming on the same kind of ammo? I have two P-64's and neither of them like the Hornady stuff, although others on this board have had no problems with that particular ammo. If you have recently purchased your P-64, although the...

I just ordered mine. It's great that Wolff kept their part of the bargain, and we should all support them for making the springs.

Hammer Spring News from Wolff!
I agree 100%, Pshootr! Thanks to Vermonter and all of the fine folks on this site that harassed Wolff. A win-win situation for both us and Wolff, I think!
I am looking forward to making my order as soon as th springs are listed on their website!
Again, thanks to all!

+P Ammo
If this is what I think it is, I bought a few boxes of it from the Sportsman's Guide. Their ratings had it at about 202 foot pounds of energy, or something like that. I believe that the ratings on Brown Bear and others are much higher. While the box calls it plus P, it didn't seem to really have the...

Left handed?
There are more guns carried out there without safeties than with them. All double-action revolvers have no safeties and there are tons of semi-autos out there that are double-action only (DAO) or Glock triggers, that have no safety. It is rare, very rare, to hear about an accidental discharge. I'm a...

P-64 importation slowing down?
Papabear, I think you got a really significant bargain. I wouldn't doubt that those grips for about $25 doubled the fair value of your CZ-52! I might still like the burled cherry best, but I also like that hard maple. Both of 'em look truly first rate! Thanks again for sharing this with us. It gives...

P-64 importation slowing down?
Papabear, Thanks for sharing those grips on the CZ-52. I liked the ones from Zee, and you can't beat the price he had on them. Unfortunately, he who procastinates (me) is lost. Those cherry grips are amongst the slickest I've ever seen on Mr. CZ-52! Must've cost you an arm and a leg. Thanks for putt...

P-64 importation slowing down?
Papabear,
Those are amongst the nicest CZ-52's I've seen yet! I recognize the gray and white grips as Zeeborg's, I am assuming. I wish he was still 'exporting' those. Where did you get those wood grips? What type of wood are they?
Thanks.

The P-64 as a *duty weapon* ? Advice Please:
Qarlo, Welcome to the forum. I agree with what Papa Bear and Vermonter posted. I, too, would trust my life with either of the two P-64's that I own. And, as was adeptly pointed out by Bzinggg, the P-64 was the standard enforcement weapoin in Poland for years. That said, I tend to think that a pistol...

Pirk 56, If you are saving up for a quality small auto, don't overlook the Kel-tecs. I have two in .32acp., and have had only one malfunction in several hundred rounds fired. It may be that the malfunction was ammo related, rather than gun related. The price of the Kel-tec in .32 or .380 is kind of ...
