Who carries to Church
Hey Czak, why bother to get the permit if you're not going to carry the handgun? Why buy an insurance policy if you're going to deny the coverage?? I'm sorry, but you sound just a bit like those Sarah Brady folks who ran around in Florida airports passing out flyers saying "Beware of being shot...

Who carries to Church
I think you're right about acting a certain way in church or out, but the gun thing may be more akin to cursing throughout the week. In other words, for all we know it may be a sin to carry at any time. God could be against firearms, period. I'm not a churchgoer, but I don't think God envisioned hi...

How do you carry?
There are a lot of interesting links regarding this subject at
www.mouseguns.com
Same back-and forth, I don't know if there will ever be a definitive answer...other than something like the .25 in your hand is 100% more effective than the 44 Magnum back in the truck...

Who carries to Church
something occurred to me vis a vis this subject that should have occurred to me earlier, I think--that is, we really ought not to be acting that much differently the rest of the week than we do in church --ideally we should pretty much be the same. Most folks wouldn't use foul language at church, bu...

me too--Also heard that it really does make a difference if the firearm you use is "politically correct"--that is, a jury is more sympathetic to someone who shoots a burglar with an H&R Pardner single shot or a Marlin "goose gun" than to someone who shoots a burglar with a Bu...

Your first P-64, when?
You know, I just cannot understand why the Mak guys want to "bash" the P-64! Yes, it has a couple of things that even we don't like, but they can be fixed quickly with a new spring. I find it very "ungentlemanly" to constantly "bash" other weapons. If I don't like it, ...

Who carries to Church
Ambivalence aside, I have not found it any more difficult to pray armed than unarmed...for those who can't seem to grasp that concept. And prayer can be done in a dark alley on Saturday night on the wrong side of the tracks as well as in church on Sunday morning--if you would rather do that than car...

This .25/ .22 biz is confusing as hell to me--I have the Cartridges of the World book, the author , an eminent authority, says .25 is pretty much worthless, but characterizes the .22LR as a "usefuL" SD round. Then the editor, another eminent authority, says the .25 is drastically more reli...

Who carries to Church
Ya know guys, I try to carry everywhere, that's why I went to the trouble to get a permit--I went to a more or less "regular" church the other day with my Zastava on my left hip, and i have to admit, I felt pretty funny--But then, last week I went to a "regular" church, left the ...

Not completely--They fit on the gun OK but one set interfered with the trigger mechanism. But he got them to work--had to rout out some more wood on the inside of the panel, now they slide on just fine...He's probably working on them now even as we speak! LOL! One set fit just perfect from the get-g...
