Since I started this thread way back in August. I now carry my P-64 with one in the pipe, fully loaded 6+1. I saw the error of my ways and changed but I still have not changed any springs and do Not plan on ever. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

I know that some of the early models have round hammers and the later one have the triangle hammer but are all the parts interchangeable? Will the safety or the firing pin of say a 68 fit and function on say a 73? Will a round hammer effectively replace a triangle hammer or vis versa?

makarov caliber guns are scarce at shows around here too. And isn't $9 a little high for admission? I guess if we'll pay it they'll charge it.
