Dang autofill. I meant to ask, "DOES" anyone actually carry they're p64 in the original holster?

I mean, it's cool and everything, but looks like it would flop around on a belt. Mine stays in the holster when parked near my easy chair, but there are better holsters for carry IMO.

Take the slide off and move the safety back and forth and you'll see it has a hammer block that keeps the hammer from striking the firing pin. I still point it in a safe direction when decocking with a round in the chamber since mechanical things can malfunction.

Well, since I went shooting yesterday I had to clean it anyway so I let it soak in a concoction of Ed's Red Bore Cleaner for several hours then scrubbed the chamber with a twisted piece of Scotch Brite pad, followed by a bore brush and a swab of Eezox down the barrel.
