Did the HK recoil spring swap

What if the slide is not slamming around so much with the stiffer spring and is shaking the magazine less?

Range with new P64

I think the sideways thing is for "spray and pray" where you use the natural muzzle climb to sweep the muzzle across your target. Not effective IMHO.

P-64 Variant?

My 1976 third variation has a plum colored slide (in contrast to the more black slide of my '67). It seems to show more wear than my '67.

New to P64 --- Which variation is best?

From what I've seen unless you are perusing a gun shop or display at a gun show it is whatever they grab. I own a first variation (1967) and a third (1976). Out of the box the first variation was better (less DA trigger pull) and shot nicer. I usually carry my third variation because my '67 has a di...

If you want pictures from me on the CCW, it would be nothing but ugly. And where would you conceal the pistol?

Sight Enhancement

Put some clear nail polish over the paint. I used the bright sights paint and holster wear wiped it off my P-64.

Who carries to Church

I usually carry to church and take pains to be VERY low key in my carry (P-64 helps)!

HOW TO DISASSEMBLY YOUR AK RIFLE

I might have had all the parts, but I didn't want to risk it. Wife came up with a huge ziploc bag all the parts fit into.

Anyone know of a 1978 dated P64?

Hey, if she was born before Sept. 1978 the 1977 P-64's would be from the year she was conceived....

Better then a Makarov? Possible

I had a Russian Mak in .380. Nice gun. Didn't mean anything to me. Sold it.

I don't think I'll give up my CZAK...

The Religion of Handguns

I don't know that you can quantify it.

For instance, when I go out at night, my 27 with tritium sights goes with me. (Easier to conceal.)

During the day, I often carry the P-64. I do like the slim profile.

It's all about what you like. And everybody is different.

HOW TO DISASSEMBLY YOUR AK RIFLE

Waaaah! I got my Polisk AK underfolder kit today. The person who packed the kit just put it loose in a box with paper packing material. The oil bottle leaked and disintegrated the bottom of the box! I have no clue whether all the parts are there! The dealer (Cheaper than Dirt) will send me a replace...
