9x18 cheap

Field & Stream by me still has 9x18 ammo for $7.97 go fifty rounds. Don't know if it just local. I posted this a couple weeks back in the wrong spot so a thought I'd post it under ammo. It's the cheapest I've ever seen. Steel cased Blazer ammo. I've put about 300 rounds through my mak and my p64 wit...

Re: Polish P64 saya 9mm , but is 380

I want to thank you for the information . It saddens me that they would have told me that it was a 380- 9mm short ! So what ammo should I use ? Thanks again !! As others have said 9x18 Makarov, or simply Makarov. There are other 9x18 ammo out there but if it is not "Makarov" ammo, do not use it. We...

Re: Wolf Hammer springs

First off I got my p64 at a pawn shop pre owned. As far as my grips, I was under the assumption that when they were issued for duty in Poland the grips had know thumb rest. when they are sold for surplus the duty grips are replaced with the grips with the grips that have the thumb rest. A lot of Mak...

Re: Wolf Hammer springs

Got mine Friday. I put the 18lb in and went to the range Monday. What a difference!!! I didn't order the recoil spring but I think I might. I don't really mind the recoil ( I carry and shoot a Kel-Tec PF9) but my hand just doesn't fit my p64 very comfortabley. I think my next step will be a set of P...

Re: Wolf Hammer springs

I just ordered hammer springs last week and they had recoil springs then. I can't see why they would stop so quickly

Re: Effect of lighter hammer spring on SA

I know what you are talking about. I got my p64 from spawn shop so I know there was at least one previous owner. I have nothing to compare it to as it's my only p64 and I have no way to test the sa trigger pull other than experience with other guns and the options of friends with as much or more exp...

Trigger pull scary lite

I went to the range with my p64 and my Bulgarian Mak to try them out. Both are excellent shooters. I do however have an issue with the P64. I bought it at a pawn shop so I know that someone owned it prior to me as it was cleaned ( no cosmoline on it or in it). I have heard all the stories about the ...

Well I made it to the range with my p64 and my Bulgarian Mak. Both are excellent shooters. I do however have an issue with the P64. If you read my op you know that I bought it at a pawn shop so I know that someone owned it prior to me as it was cleaned ( no cosmoline on it). I have heard all the sto...

Re: I had a feeling this was going to happen!

Well I spent the day de-gooing my Makarov. Now it's all clean & shiny and ready to make its trip to the range Monday. I can't wait! I only picked up 600 rounds of 9x18 ( all they had). Anybody think I should get more?
