Re: Colorized Pics of WWI Russian Fighters

As much as the Russians and the Japanese hated each other somehow I find it odd that they would use captured Japanese equipment for anything official AND let it be released in photo's. Like captured German equipment, they used it but find any official pictures showing them using it is extremely diff...

Re: Colorized Pics of WWI Russian Fighters

Why would the Russians pose with captured type 99's? They had so damn many 91-30's?

Re: Colorized Pics of WWI Russian Fighters

My question is what type of rifle are those in picture #11? Those bayonets are knife type and I.am pretty sure Mosin's never used a knife type, they all used socket type or permanently attached folder's (M44 carbines).
Any one got any ideas?
Very, very cool Curly.

Re: New to P64s and jazzed!

I would say you did quite well. And I understand about paying more for the EG when a Bulgie is cheaper, and I would have bought the Bulgie and been happy if the EG was say $525 or more. But an EG Mak in this condition for only $450, yeah you did good.

Re: P-64's increasing in " Value " ?

Very nice Curly. How long have you had it and are those real mother of pearl or Faux pearl?
My newest one has a fair amount of wear but it is honest wear, not abuse and no putting or rust.

Re: P-64 and pocket carry

The P64 was the Polish Service pistol from 1964 to 1983 when the P83 was adopted. The P83 is slightly larger, uses lots of sheet metal and welding and a whole host of other differences. Search "P83" here or on Google and you will get lot's of info regarding differences between the two.
