PA-63 Slide Stop Spring

THANK YOU NORM!!!

Just received the springs about 20 min ago. It took me about 2 min to set it in just right. Works absolutely perfect! Thanks again.

PA-63 Slide Stop Spring

When I bought my PA-63, I did the Wolff spring swap. I noticed some occasional jams and the slide stop kept falling out. Apparently when putting it back together, I somehow lost the slide stop spring. I think that is what is causing my occasional jamming issues with the PA-63. I was wondering :o if ...

Quick reload

I thought I seen a thread on a quick mag change somewhere on this forum. I had mine at the range and this is what I've come up with. This may already be the standard and as usual, I'm just a couple steps behind everyone. I practiced this at my range. I was shooting right handed with left hand suppor...

THANK YOU VETERANS

My grandfather was sent to Hawaii after Pearl Harbor. My dad was with the 4th Infantry Division & fought in Vietnam. My brother-in-law just returned this year from Iraq and a fellow officer with my dept. is currently stationed there. Two uncles in the Air Force and numerous cousins in the Army a...

Ordering one now

Finally took them to the range yesterday. I didn't have a lot of time, so I only shot about 25 rds (Silver Bear 94g HP) in each of them. The first 6 in the P-64 was a little wild because I wasn't sure what to expect. After that, I was impressed. No FTF and every round cycled perfectly. The DA trigge...

Here they are with questions!

I've owned firearms for 23 yrs, I've been a police officer for 11 yrs. Handled a gun in some form almost every day. Then I do something like this and think that I should sell all my guns and collect paperclips. Sheesh!!!

P-64 as a carry weapon.

+3 (except for the seatbelt part). Sorry, I don't mean to offend but as a police officer for 11 years, I'm a big supporter of the seatbelt law. I don't see this as a "rights infringement", because it does not hamper anyone's lifestyle (as far as I can see). It simply saves lives. I've seen...

Here they are with questions!

I'm starting to feel a little stupid. I don't think I lost anything when I disassembled the PA-63. The extractor plunger that I received from SSSMEDWI, is not the piece I thought I lost. Apparently I did not lose anything. :( I must have misunderstood the parts. I thought there was another small pie...

P-64 as a carry weapon.

I don't think it's tactically sound to carry a firearm w/o a holster unless it is in the front pocket. (Although I know Mel Gibson pulled it off in 4 Lethal Weapon movies.) I carry my Kel-Tec P32 when I'm off duty in a small holster in my front pocket. In the winter, I may carry my Glock 27 in a IWB...

Parts for P64 or PA 63

A small kit with all the small parts, pins, springs, ect. would be good. I finally had to call off the search party for my extractor spring plunger that I launched the other day.

THANK YOU for the link. I ordered it today. I crawled on my hands and knees all over the room, moved everything I could, drug a magnet around.....no luck. I even tried to figure out ricochet angles and searched everywhere. So, I just ordered one. As a last ditch futile effort, I'm going to vacuum th...

Here they are with questions!

I am sending out a formal search party for the plunger. I never seen it or heard it go. I had my hands in a large bag and when I went to lift out the extractor, my hand jerked. Exactly how screwed am I? I did a parts search and located a Kassnar PMK that looks identical to the PA-63 (I thought maybe...

BTW, as far as the cosmo goes. Their was not much. MCS must do some removal because I sprayed the entire gun down with brake cleaner and soaked it in Ed's red and found little to no cosmo. Very surprised and pleased to say the least. Also BTW, thanks for reposting the pics. donnerwetter58 "If y...

I got it! I just needed to take a break and tone the frustration level down. The screwdriver method worked great. I took a thick pair of rubber gloves, wrapped it around the bottom of the slide, and secured the slide in my vise. I used the screwdriver to keep it balanced, pushed the pin in and slid ...
