Poll: Should I trade a P-64 for a CZ-52?
Someone, I think Century, was selling CZ52s as soon as last week for something like $125. What's average cost of a P64 right now, $160-$175? Get him to compensate accordingly and take the trade, otherwise it's not worth it IMO.

9x18 defensive ammo
I saw gel tests on a website, that I can't remember the name of right now, that showed Silver Bear HPs penetrating the best of the few they tried. That's what I currently have in my mags, and not just because it's what I have the most of.

I could only find one box of Monarch in the safe (closet) so I guess I did shoot a box. Don't remember anything bad so I guess it's good stuff! I do know it's Barnaul-manufactured and lacquered-steel case, so be sure to clean the chamber well afterwards. Just as an aside, what I thought this thread ...

NEW PICS: Kept saying I'm gonna do it...so I did.
Just a warning for that Pakistani .303, the little bit that I had would hang-fire by a half-second or so after pulling the trigger. Fairly consistent to point-of-aim, though.

I bought 2 boxes of Monarch 94gr FMJ 9mm Mak, but haven't shot any of it yet. I love the silver bear HPs, they're the most accurate round that I've fired out of my p64. The last time I used Wolf my gun broke (I'm usually of the mindset that if your gun won't shoot Wolf, it's broken. Guess what, it w...

I'm down, do we just all print-n-shoot the same target at the same distance? Can we shoot as many time as we need, or is it a one-off thing?

Just a random question I thought of:
Has anyone actually measured the double action trigger pull on their P-64? In particular a pre-triangle hammer model. edit: I know the main page says "Double-action trigger pull is heavy: 110-120 N (25-27 lb)", but is that the actual trigger pull or the spring pressure? Or are they the same?

Odd observance at gun show
I went to a show today to look around. No P-64s, but I did see a $270 CZ-82 and a $460(!) P6/225

Missed this the first time around! I'm 22 and work for a Veterinary hospital/boarding kennel in Nashville, TN. Keeps the bills paid until I can get around to going back to college.

Need some suggestions
invest the $1k in something with a high quick return and get an FN SCAR-H once they come out. -L if you want cheaper ammo. Maybe the Bushmaster/Magpul ACR whenever they become available. If you want (relatively) instant gratification, call CMMG ( http://www.cmmginc.com ) and see if their bargain-bin...

Shot the P64 today
Does anyone make or supply replacement mag springs for the P64? The jams happen on the last round, right? It sounds like, to my complete lack of knowledge, the mag spring is strong enough to lift the round juuust enough to go into the chamber, but not enough to completely go into battery.

How do you like your RIA Tactical? I was looking at getting one a month or so ago but bought my AR instead.

If it is new-production commercial ammunition it won't be corrosive. The Prvi is pretty good stuff.
