Re: PPK/S Comparison

WardenWolf, I sent the PPK1 holster back to OpticsPlanet for a swap to a Fobus Model BS2 paddle which fits the Bersas, etc. which are way closer to the P64 sizewise. Will let you know. But you are right, a Mak holster should be very close. Be a different carry for me since I carry a S&W 36 3&quo...

Re: #$%&^*!@# these things are hard to work on!

Thanks juniusstaylor, I had fiddled with the disconnector but haven't had much time lately to mess around with it. It acts like the disconnector, which properly disconnects the trigger, almost disconnects the sear but not quite which is why with the least flip of the slide it will decock. May be som...

NormS
I still have the same question which is answered nowhere including Dr. What's his face useless manual. Should'nt the pistol decock upon switching the "Safety" to "safe"?
Thanks

Re: #$%&^*!@# these things are hard to work on!

Questios: My P-64 functions & shots fine. It decocks with the safety on when you drop the slide but does not decock when you just put the safety on? I was under the impression that switching the safety on would decock. Also sometimes after a full clip fired the chambered round indicator will ext...

Re: Few questions...new to this

A Fobus molded paddle holster, Model PPK1, for Walther PPK/PPKS/PP is way too small for the P-64. Will not fit a Bersa Thunder either. Have one if anyone needs it for a Walther.

Re: PPK/S Comparison

Boomer,
Ordered a molded Fobus Paddle Holster Model PPK1 from OpticsPlanet.com which was supposed to fit PPK/PPKS/PP. Absolutely will not fit the P-64. Way too small. Will not fit a Bersa Thunder either.
Would like to find a molded paddle for the P-64.

P64 Round in chamber indicator

New (surplus 1974) P64 firing first time. 1st 6 rds fine. Fresh mag fired 1st round, the 'round in chamber indicator' extruded about 3/4 inch?? The dealer I got it from just tapped it back in. How is this retained? Any suggestions before I continue with this pistol? Thanks
