Re: Do you take your P64 jogging?

The weather is still a bit chilly here but I carry a LCP while at the gym (late night - early morning hours). http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll287/jhwarner1/Gym5.jpg (LCP in wallet holster, drink is iced lemonade and book is "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross) I quit carrying mine...

P64 vs modern CCW

The most appealing thing I find in the P64, and that is completely lacking in the P3at/LCP, is the ability to carry "Decocked and Locked". I own a P3AT and love it for it's ability to conceal where no others dare...but I won't personally be trusting that thing in my pants with one in the t...

Pocket/belt Knives

There is a Kershaw Warehouse in my area. Every year they have their annual surplus sale where they sell overstocks and seconds at greatly reduced prices. Consequently, I ALWAYS have some kind of Kershaw product in my persons. My daily standard is their entire Leak line. I think for a daily carry the...

How many of these things are there?

Ah Gunny......I saw one there, but it was early on Saturday. It must have sold quick. I think it was a 72 with a rounded hammer and thumb rest.

I almost bought it......ended up buying an M44 instead.

C&R License

Dolang1, I share your sentiment.

I've definitely increased my aquisitions in anticipation of that. I've also been considering a C&R.

Bobtx, Any chance you might have a link to the aplication?

New M44 project gun

That's a Pachmayer, size Medium. I picked it up at Sportsmans Warehouse for $9.99.

It sounded like it was a worth while purchase....I still have yet to fire it without it. It does do a good job.

New M44 project gun

Wow, you guys are great! I appreciate all the input......I knew I was in the right place to ask. There was a growing feeling that maybe I was underestimating what I'd found. I really have no experience with these old rifles and can't really say I would know what too look for. I have had my eye out f...

New M44 project gun

I am pretty excited to be the new owner of my first Mosin Nagant M44. I picked it up last Friday after several weeks of trying to meet up with my FFL dealer. (just about frustrating enough to drive a guy to apply for his C&R.) I’ll just take a moment to thank several of the members of this site ...

Here's my new toy

Thanks to Hollywood, I feel like this is a stupid question....but heck, I'll ask it anyway. Is that a selectable fire weapon? I thought they were, but then I noticed the tag looks like they were asking $623 for it. I'd have to guess that it's semi-auto at that price? That being said......can you bum...

P64 shooting matches

Hey, I logged in "just in time"....lol I was hoping another shootin match was in the works. So, are we agreeing on the first target posted? My only thought is that the last shoot-out was pretty competative, this target configuration lacks a true center point to judge from. I'm game either ...

Oregon and I'm sure there isn't more than six or seven people in the state that would buy a 9x18. A pretty conservative state but you can buy and own a guns here, we still believe in the constitution. G.R. Hey Gunny!!!! I must account for numbers six and seven....... How's it goin Blinddog? Camo Grips, photos posted...

Just getting in line........Havn't posted here in a while. I would also love to purchase a pair, or two, of those camo grips!!! I think the black/white swirl looks the best but honestly, any variation would be an excelent improvement to my slightly ill-fitting thumbrest grips I have now. Please add ...

Silver Bear 94gr Hollow point - Report

Is there anyone else on here that can only view half of this forum page without having to scroll on the bottom bar? Perhaps, if spyguy would not post any of his sized images side-by-side.... Sounds like it might be time for a new video card and a nice new wide screen LCD???? (kidding, all in fun) E...

Silver Bear 94gr Hollow point - Report

I seem to remember some discussion about weather the Silver Bear 94gr Hollow point rounds would expand or not. I did a little plinking today and as part of my business (Techie geeky kinda stuff) I get to dispose of hard drives. I occasionally find creative ways to do this and here is the result. htt...

Put me in line behind the rest of these guys. Camo for me thanks very much!

That first try of yours looks great! I hope this works out and you are able to offer something up for us.
