same product, just different packaging

they'll shoot fine in the PA-63, I just bought 10 boxes of the same ammo for mine

the headstamp logo is the logo of Barnaul, the company that makes the ammo for Silver Bear

Re: Mosin Nagant collecting

if you completely remove the bayonet from the M44, you will most likely have to re-sight the gun, as most were sighted in with the bayonet extended As far as finding one that's "collectable" that's probably fairly tough. Out of the buttloads I've seen, not one has been rare. However, melli...

Re: Mosin Nagant collecting

just two so far, M44 from 1946 and a M91/30 from 1943 I like the M44 the most, it's the loudest and looks nicer than the M91/30, and it also seems to be sighted in with the bayonet retracted. Surplus ammo is plentiful in 54R caliber. Got about 3K rds, mostly Bulgarian, with Czech, Bosnian, and Hunga...

Re: Favorite/worst 9x18 ammo

And in the very unlikely event that 2 steel core bullets strike they could spark. Ever seen burning tires before? This is just what I was told be a indoor range guy... But who knows. I personally find the spark thing a bit far fetched. That's like the POL (petroleum oil lubrication) guys at work ge...

P-83 WONAD WOOD GRIPS

the P-83 has ony been available here for a short while, too soon for aftermarket grips I think. I'd contact www.marschalgrips.com - you might have to send a sample of the grips if he doesn't have them yet. Or Zee can make some up like he does for the P-64.

AMMO for reduced strength spring PA63

I have a 11lb hammer spring in mine and the only ammo I've had to double strike is Wolf Military Classic. I've used Winchester, MFS, Barnaul, S&B, Norinco Green Box without problems. Going to try Silver Bear next weekend for the first time. I put a new hammer spring from Wolff in my PA63 to impr...
