Where can I get a CZ-82?

Besides gun broker.

Also, most CZ-82's I have seen have well worn finishes. If I buy one I will probably want to refinish it.

What would you recommend for a durable, no glare "military" style finish?

Wolff firing pin spring

lcberlin

not necessarily, only if you get a slam fire, witch chances are won't happen with the P-64

NORM
So you do not need to change the firing pin spring if you switch out the recoil spring, assuming you do not get slam fires?

Is this normal?

I bought my P-64 used off of gunbroker. The previous owner had polished the trigger bar to where it is nice and shiny, but as far as I can tell he just polished it, no metal was removed. The gun functions fine and after a 100 rounds no problems. However, if I have the slide off and accidently pull t...

Problem with new P-64.

You left a round in when you field stripped and experienced accidental discharge? Or do you mean that you accidentally dropped the hammer while field stripping with the slide off, no round in the chamber, and the trigger bar fell out of position? ha ha sorry, dropped the hammer, not accidental disc...

Problem with new P-64.

I bought a P-64 off of gunbroker and when I field stripped it I accidently fired the pistol. When the hammer dropped for some strange reason the "trigger bar" came out of the trigger. Is this normal or did the seller sell me a faulty weapon? (He said it was in good working order but the de...

Help my P-64 is failing to feed.

SOG said they would replace it, but will only ship to an FFL, so I would have to repay the transfer fee $20 and wait another 3 days. Thinking about returning it completely for a refund, I think my bulgarian makarov has spoiled me as it was my first pistol and is 100% reliable from day one and feeds ...

Help my P-64 is failing to feed.

I think Norm has something there. Lots of expertise from Norm. How many mags do you have? Same thing happen with them all? Are you using stock mags from SOG? Sounds like you cleaned the pistol, but did you disassemble and clean the mag(s)? Mine had a lot of cosmoline in them. I think the slide goin...

Help my P-64 is failing to feed.

I took my recently SOG purchased and degreased P-64 to the range today and it failed to feed approximately 1 out of every 3 rounds or two rounds per mag. I was using S&B FMJ, it also failed to feed wolf 100gr "conehead" bullets, but I expected the wolf to give it problems though. The p...
